was there an inflection at the end of that sentence, because it was not formed as a question. Your whole argument is hinging on whether Johnson is credible, if his admission to being the source was true. It seems your need would be to show he isn't credible.
But the article you cited, used, does not damage, bring suspicion upon Johnson's admission....so apparently, you accept Johnson was telling the truth.
