A company owned by the family of Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, stands to receive more than $400 million from a prominent Chinese company that is investing in the Kushners’ marquee Manhattan office tower at 666 Fifth Ave.

The planned $4-billion transaction includes terms that some real estate experts consider unusually favorable for the Kushners. It provides them with both a sizable cash payout from Anbang Insurance Group for a property that has struggled financially and an equity stake in a new partnership.

Jared sold his interest to the family so as to remove a conflict of interest.

Yet he was working on this deal after Trump was PEOTUS. Do you see any conflicts of interest???

Haters here are almost laughable, if it weren't so sad. First there is a conflict if he doesn't sell, then there is a conflict if he does!

He is worth nearly $2 billion at age 36. He is working for free. What more do you folks want. Only in such a partisan blinded world could anyone say that this guy is hoping to make a few bucks in this arrangement.

The points, concerns and questions are more than reasonable.
These issues are bound to surface due to the immense wealth of those involved and their positions in the WH, from President to advisers

I have said from the beginning, from when Trump promised to release his finances. We'll never see what's what unless he's indicted

You seem to forget he's declared bankruptcy a half a dozen times. You know nothing about this guy other than what he tells you, based on what we have seen in the election campaign alone nothing he says is reliable.

Based on how many times people have sued him for being ripped off, I'd say your support at this point is beyond stupid.

For the record, Donald Trump has denied ever meeting Putin seven times, and he has claimed to have met Putin "many times".

You take it from there. Believe him and you're a fool...but, you can lose the attack bull****, you have no way of knowing if ANYONE is a "hater" and for you to claim such without evidence is ignorant, irresponsible and foolish and reveals an absence of any decent argument in favor of Trump.

If there is a conflict of interest I don't know what could be done about it. You can't expect people to stop doing business just because a member of their family married someone whose father becomes President. They didn't run for office nor are they members of the administration.

Jared is an owner of the business, but he supposedly sold his ownership stake in this particular property. It still raises ethical and conflict of interest concerns - since these rules apply to family members as well as the official in question.
