Donald Trump plays his 'ninth round of golf' in seven weeks as President

Nope....I don't at all....and I don't have issues with Trump playing golf either. Presidents are entitled to some time off. Whether they golf, go to a movie, or play video games....its none of our business. The job of President is stressful and it is important that they have a chance to relax for a few hours. The only thing I have an issue with is the hypocrisy....and yours is blaring con.

Hypocrisy is results only matter when they can be made up by the left

Great but it was 8.4% when the recession began your expectations are typical of a liberal where you pick and choose the point in time you want to use. Why would you use that data instead of the pre recession numbers since Obama was hired to improve the economy?

Lmao, I pick and chose data? You've brought up all the data. I've just addressed it and pointed out the following:

- The metrics for measuring the economy haven't changed.
- Trump has touted numbers similar to those of Obama's as being a sign of an improving economy.
- You've only praised Trump's numbers. The U-6 has remained virtually the same for the past year and half. It only significantly went down under Obama.

Do you understand why I have no faith in your understanding of economics, at all?

So you think 1.6% GDP growth and 9.4 U-6 unemployment at a cost of 9.4 trillion to the debt is a robust economy? Do you understand what the U-6 rate represents? The numbers the left was touting was the U-3 rate that ignores the under employed and discouraged workers. Those people actually voted in November which is why Obama lost the Congress

It's truly amazing how in 6 weeks the US went from a third world **** hole with its economy in shambles and its people dying on the streets to a prosperous and magical wonderland. You've been better off for a LONG time already.

Yes, since the Reps. took control of Congress and we've seen our economy improve IN SPITE OF the Dems. worst efforts to the contrary.

I love it. Faced with the fact that we haven't measured the economy in any noticeably different manner since Jan, 20, 2017.... and the fact the same numbers which allow Trump to claim the economy is doing well, are the numbers supporting that it did well under Obama.... you defer to an election 7 years ago as proof that Trump didn't inherit a robust economy in 2017!

Brilliant strategy. Maybe I won't notice. Who knows?

Not going to quote it. Going to hold your hand and let you figure it out for yourself - teach a man to fish. Now, what evidence does the article provide to support the claim in the headline that he "played his ninth round of golf"? What do the two reporter tweets that seem to be the basis for the entire article say? Do they say that he played golf?

So....you can't back up your point.

I mean, that was evident quite some time ago, but thanks for the confirmation.

Oh hey! I can speed post too! I guess your lack of posting means you've disappeared! Hey, quick question - currently the U-6 sits at ~9.7 .... Here's Trump:

Ford factory in Michigan Strong jobs numbers but not attributed to Trump: Pro

President Donald Trump on Friday flipped his approach to the government's employment report, celebrating the kind of strong showing he dismissed as phony under President Barack Obama.

The Labor Department reported that the economy created 235,000 jobs in February, above the 190,000 consensus, allowing the president to claim that business enthusiasm over his approach to taxes and regulation is already paying off. The unemployment rate ticked down 0.1 percent, to 4.7 percent.

Obama in December: My numbers show the economy is doing well!
Conservative: But the U-6!
*Change in president, no change in metrics*
Trump in January: My numbers show the economy is doing well!
Conservative: Yup!

Do you see why no faith can be given to your arguments?

Trumpcare is worse that Obamacare in nearly every way....unless your rich and then it is another huge tax break for you. Even the insurers hate it and say it will not work

Pretty much everyone with a stake in America’s health care system hates Trumpcare.
The biggest doctors’ group in the country, the American Medical Association (AMA) came out against House Republicans’ health care bill on Wednesday, warning that it “would result in millions of Americans losing coverage and benefits.” The organization is joined in its opposition by the American Hospital Association and the AARP.
America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the leading industry group representing health insurers, stopped shy of denouncing the entire bill, but still objected to provisions that could destabilize insurance markets, cut financial assistance to help people afford coverage, and “weaken Medicaid coverage of mental health and opioid addiction.”
Republican lawmakers do not appear particularly concerned that their proposal could strip Americans of their health care. Indeed, most of the criticism of the House Republican bill within the GOP caucus comes from hardline conservatives who are upset that it does not cut even deeper.
But if these lawmakers won’t listen to the millions who could lose coverage, maybe they will listen to a different constituency that has traditionally appealed to Republican lawmakers — well-moneyed interest groups concerned with their bottom line.

Good jobs flying into the economy, record stock market, soaring 401Ks, dramatic drop in illegals entering country, ISIS cornered and dwindling.......

You're better off than you've been in a LONG time already.

Talk about 4 years from now, when trump has to take all of the credit or the blame, without riding Obama's coattails anymore.

Got it 1.6% GDP growth and 9.4% U-6 is a robust economy and why Obama kept the Congress for the Democrats. thank you

You can see why facts actually confuse you

Sorry, the numbers were for February 2016 vs 2017

As you continue to show the total matters more to you than the quality just so you can prop up the failure known as Obama. The context matters more than the totals because discouraged workers and under employed matter

Donald Trump might have routinely relished in lambasting Barack Obama for playing golf but it seems he also has a penchant for the sport. The President has reportedly played golf nine times in the seven weeks he has held office.

Don Cheeto loves to play with his balls ............ gotta get away from the pressure of being POTUS .............

I honestly think Trump should play three full rounds of golf every day of the year.

Watching you try to run away from your non-point is hilarious. Quick question, have we changed the way of measuring economic strength since Jan 20, 2017?

No? What would the economy 7 years ago have to do with Trump inheriting a robust economy on Jan 20, 2017?

Here we go with the nitpicking, okay fine so under Obama the U-6 got even better. Thanks?

Anyways, here are three points:

- The metrics for measuring the economy haven't changed.
- Trump has touted numbers similar to those of Obama's as being a sign of an improving economy.
- You've only praised Trump's numbers. The U-6 has remained virtually the same for the past year and half. It only significantly went down under Obama.

Given that the metrics for measuring the economy hasn't changed, is Trump wrong, or are you a partisan hack?

The U-6 got better from the rise that he and the Democratic Congress AND Bush created but that fact escapes you. The U-6 rate was 8.4 when the recession began, Last February it was 9.8 and it is 9.2 today. Continue to be amazed at someone like you claiming that Trump inherited a robust economy at 1.6% GDP growth rate. The only one partisan here is you who cannot accept the fact that the Obama record gave the Congress to the GOP

Nobody is changing the metric. You happen to believe that 9.4% Unemployment is good because it was down from the recession years but up from the recession start and I don't. You happen to believe 1.6% growth in 2016 is robust but again I don't. We shall see what that GDP rate is at the end of the first quarter. For some reason the Republicans took the Congress in November and you haven't explained it. Maybe the public felt the very poor GDP growth and 9.4% U-6 rate whereas you didn't and apparently don't care

Talk about 4 years from now, when trump has to take all of the credit or the blame, without riding Obama's coattails anymore.

I love those Obama coattails that gave the GOP the Congress and the WH. Just cannot get a liberal Obama supporter to explain how that happened with such stellar numbers and a robust economy
