Boris Johnson claims Russia was behind plot to assassinate Prime Minister of Montenegro as he warns of Putin's 'dirty tricks'

Boris Johnson has accused Russia of attempting to assassinate the leader of Montenegro as he warned the country is capable of hacking into political systems in the UK.

Speaking to ITV's Robert Peston the Foreign Secretary said President Putin's Government has been up to "all sorts of dirty tricks" in recent months and added that he is "sad" that relations with the country have deteriorated.

Asked about whether Russia is attempting to subvert democracy in the UK Mr Johnson said: "First of all, we have no evidence that the Russians are actually involved in trying to undermine our democratic processes at the moment.

Dont trust that Turk, he is just using the Trump playbook and accusing **** without proof. If Russia wanted to assassinate the leader of Montenegro, then they would have no problems doing so.

Complete horse crap. The Wikilieaks Vault 7 release shows it could just as easily be a USA/CIA false flag operation. After all, it is the CIA that is World famous for subverting democratic processes Worldwide. Think Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Haiti, Cuba, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatamala, El Salvador, Chile, Nicaragua, and others, ad infinitum.

He is. He is technically British German Turkish. His great grandfather was Ali Kemal. His great grandmother came to the UK via Austraila from Germany. He is in fact related to the present Queen of England and is technically like 200th or something in the line to the throne. Boris is in fact... 3rd generation immigrant..

IIRC, two Russian nationalists planned the assassination (of a former Montenegro PM) and coup attempt from Belgrade, Serbia. 20 Serbians and Montenegro accomplices were arrested in November (14 remain in custody). The two Russians fled Serbia and are now back in Russia. Moscow has refused to cooperate with Montenegro and Interpol has issued red alerts for the wanted Russians. The apparent goal of all this was to prevent Montenegro from becoming a NATO member (accepted in 2015, the formal entrance will occur in spring 2017). All European nations bordering the Adriatic Sea are now NATO alliance members.
