Disney Finally Celebrates Its First ?Gay Moment? In Beauty And The Beast
Two problems with this.
First;
Alabama Theater Cancels ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Screenings Due to Gay Character
"Even countries" does not mean just third world apparently.
And secondly;
The 16 Disney characters you had no idea were gay
This is similar to the other argument of whether a cake shop should have to bake a cake with a gay message. The christian distaste for gays is based on nothing more than a superstitious belief. If any one christian does not want to view a a movie with a gay person in it that is their personal problem. But to push that out into the public arena makes it everyones problem.
According to the Telegraph, for the first time in Disney's 93-year history, it will present its first 'exclusively gay moment'...'By representing same-sex attraction in this short but explicitly gay scene, the studio is sending out a message that this is normal and natural - and this is a message that will be heard in every country of the world, even countries where it's still socially unacceptable or even illegal to be gay.
'It's only a first step towards creating a cinematic world that reflects the world in which many of us are now proud to live,' he added.

When companies continually force their views on us, we need to take a stand. We all make choices and I am making mine,” a statement on the northeast Alabama theater’s Facebook page read. “If we cannot take our 11-year-old granddaughter and 8-year-old grandson to see a movie, we have no business watching it. If I can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me, then we have no business showing it.”

It is kind of hypocritical to ban one movie for being openly gay but allowing others that merely suggest it.But while the movies are great (well, some of them), there has never been an explicitly gay, bi or trans character in an animated Disney children’s movie.
There are some characters that Disney could have intended to be gay, or characters that use gay stereotypes or even just has a large gay following.
