Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose

Re: Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disc

Can anyone remind me what the Russians did to this election?

Evidently, they tried to hack into both the GOP and Democratic systems. They were unsuccessful with the GOP, but achieved success with the Democrats. Whereupon they released rather embarrassing emails (whose accuracy by the way were never disputed).
Unfortunate that Russia did this, but after 8 years of ineffectual governance, it's not surprising that Ruskies decided to see what sort of chaos they could create in the USA.

Re: Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disc

Two weeks ago Jeff Sessions declared he wouldn't recuse himself as AG from Trump to Russia investigations.

It's no wonder why...

Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose
In January, Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) asked Sessions for answers to written questions. “Several of the President-elect’s nominees or senior advisers have Russian ties. Have you been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian government about the 2016 election, either before or after election day?” Leahy wrote.

Sessions responded with one word: “No.”

Another lying jackass in this trumpster fire of an administration. One month in and this administration is showing a deep lack of ethics.

Now here is the rest of the story.
Hans A. von Spakovsky is a Senior Legal Fellow at The Heritage Foundation and former Justice Department official was involved in the event that Sessions was the guest speaker where Democrats are claiming is a meeting of the Russian ambassador.

It may interest you to find out the event sponsored by the Heritage Foundation was also sponsored by Obama's State Department.

“Global Partners in Diplomacy,” where Sessions was the keynote speaker. Sponsored by the U.S. State Department, The Heritage Foundation, and several other organizations, it was held in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention.
The conference was an educational program for ambassadors invited by the Obama State Department to observe the convention. The Obama State Department handled all of the coordination with ambassadors and their staff, of which there were about 100 at the conference."

Get real, Democrats, there is no good reason for Sessions to resign | Fox News

Look at Fox doing it's true job of protecting republicans.

How many of those hundreds of ambassadors were smuggled into trump tower to talk to Trumps son in law and Flynn?

'I don't recall' sessions will now provide written answers to further questions on Monday.

'No hearings for Garland' Grassley continues the latest trump cover up.

THE difference with 1974 is that GOP lawmakers like Sen. Baker were honest back then .

Who hacked into Pence ?

What a flippant remark and you aren't really interested in seeking the truth. If you would have paid attention you would have noticed this was a response written by Spakovsky, senior This wasn't written by any journalist associated with FOX and it was posted under the opinion section of Judiciary. He is an expert on a range of issues and whose opinion is sought out. Here's a link to his bio

Hans von Spakovsky | The Heritage Foundation

He was involved in coordinating the event with Obama's State Department. Deal with it.

My bad... look at the Heritage Foundation doing what they've always done... using a rightwing tool like Spakovsky to be a firewall for republicans... then pushed forth by Fox to be a larger megaphone in helping defend republicans.

The funny part is its a guy with a name like Spakovsky to defend republicans about their russian ties.

yes yes I know he was born in alabama.

Your source is right wing hack site and has been for ages.

No matter your rhetoric, it doesn't change the fact that the event was for the attendance of 100 ambassadors around the world coordinated and sponsored by the Obama State Department.

No matter your rhetoric, there's more to the story than that event. Of which you seem to conveniently ignore.

Do you and Spakovsky have a story you can send to fox to spin about how Trumps son in law and flynn snuck Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in the back door of Trump tower to have a chat? You know, back when all those high profile folks where in the news going to trump tower in the front door that the news never missed like Kayne and all that?

I'll await the Heritage story about how 100's of ambassadors get snuck into trump tower because... obama or something like that again.

Hilarious SNL skit with Sessions as Forrest Gump.

As an undecided person, I'm wondering whether I should believe your take on this event, or that of Mr. Binney the NSA whistleblower who spent 20+ years with NSA? His take is that it was not a hack at all, but rather a leak.

What should I do?
