Trump envisions bill allowing many illegals to stay in US

trump/Bannon are now using their leakers to plant stories designed to raise his poll numbers and appeal to Hispanics in this case.

This immigration plant will go as far with the GOP congress as trump's budget, described as DOA by the most powerful man in DC, McConnell .

Bannon/Miller will remind trump AFTER his speech what the gang of eight bill did to Rubio's presidential bid and Cantor's house seat.

trump/Bannon can't afford to lose any of their base but know they need to stop the bleeding with his polls.

Any news on who is writing trump's speech ?

And the question then becomes how is that received by many who voted for him and were eager supporters in the campaign?
 
This charade is merely a ruse to get every illegal to submit applications showing their current address and employer. Then ICE fires up the detention buses and grabs them all.

I'm in the basement right now with the two cats and no electricity, heavy thunderstorms and the tornado siren going off. Many areas north and south are getting golf-ball sized hail, not us so far, and 60+ mile per hour winds.

I think post #9 in this thread is every bit as possible as any other. Bannon has now figured out how to play the leak game on the media, if he wasn't already. Let's see what trump proposes for any legislation.

Bernie was fully supportive of former KY Gov. Beshear giving the official response to trump, mostly focused on ACA. KY pols McConnell, Paul and Bevin spent the day trashing Beshear and KYnect .

Really. Wouldn't the idea be to maximize the "self-deport" from fear factor??? Maybe this is actually fake news, as opposed to distort/spin.
 
This is perhaps just another Bannon psychological scheme to terrorize illegals. They're going to leak this to the media, and then when all the illegals are hopeful and watching Trump speak to hear of amnesty and more taxpayer handouts, Trump is gonna yell, "Sike!!!"

There is nothing in the history of Bannon or Miller or their puppet to indicate they'd support 'immigration reform' and it's totally at odds with what's going on on the ground right now. I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, looks like cynical, let's put out a leak to make Trump look good to the non-base on the day of his big address, complete BS to me.

I suspect most conservatives will blame liberals if Trump grants amnesty, same like they did with Reagan.

I'll worry about that when it happens, which from what I can tell will be after I hit the lottery.

I don't mind being wrong, but we know what he's done so far, and what Trump said on the campaign trail for over a year, and any kind of broad amnesty is roughly a 180 from that.
