Depends on what he is being asked to take? if the event is about comedy, thats not a problem. If it is just about pure nastiness to him, he has made a good call not attending. Perhaps if by the next correspondents dinner, the left has stopped wetting it's pants over Hillary losing the election, he might see fit to attend and perhaps do a bit of self deprecating humor on himself. I think he is just waiting on the left to grow up emotionally.

I was against him until the debates against Hillary. At that point he had a command of the issues and was willing to take on Hillary's past like no other republican has had the gonads to do. And i do like what he is doing.
