Come now...be honest. I would say the old SNL skits were not attacks. The current iteration? Dont YOU think they are meant as attacks?

Will Farrel's skits on Bush were epic. Fred Amisen did a good Obama but Jay Pharoah did it better. Darrel Hammond was AWESOME as Clinton. But SNL today really just reflects the bitter angry hate filled left. The magic in th past has always been that it was a little bit satirical truth and a little fun but not done out of anger and spite. TELL ME you believe these portrayals arent done out of anger and spite.

Why would he spend an evening with a group of people who will try to claim they saw him picking his nose? Wise decision. let them roast him in absentia. They are not his colleagues. They do not respect him. **** 'em.

If you can't take good natured ribbing, or criticism, yeah, you're a think-skinned, cowardly, scared little puddy cat.

Trump can heap it out and throw it far and wide, but he can't take it. He's one of the biggest snowflakes there is.

This gets it right imo. Why should the President massage the over-inflated egos of a crowd of hacks? US journos have an exaggerated idea oft their importance
