Liberals are getting very lazy

Instead of working harder to improve their message to win the next election they want to take shortcuts

Like importing illegal alienscwho votevdemocrst

Or using the legal system to bog republicans down with costly investigations

Even if they find nothing they have delayed the trump agenda by weeks or months

Issa: Special Prosecutor Needed to Investigate Alleged Trump-Russia Contacts

Issa: Special Prosecutor Needed to Investigate Alleged Trump-Russia Contacts | Fox News Insider

U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) was a guest on "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday calling for a special prosecutor to investigate alleged contacts between associates of President Donald Trump and Russia during the campaign.

IMO this is good news = GOP Representative Issa calling for an official investigation into alleged Russia/Trump contacts; thoughts?

If he couldn't get a SP for the Clintons, he sure as hell won't get one for Trump. But in his defense, he's a republican trying to survive in California.

I certainly think there should be an independent investigator assigned to look into it. I think it's premature to say there should be a "Special Prosecutor". If or when the investigator finds probable cause to believe federal laws have been broken, then assign a special prosecutor.

That's why we have the FBI.

I think Trump should welcome it. Time to squelch this crap.

Exactly.

"We have found that between November 9th and January 20th Trump officials contacted a bunch of foreign leaders, including Putin. These contacts were pretty much the same contacts that every new administration has with foreign leaders before they officially take office. While it may be a surprise to CNN and the WaPo who have still not fully comprehended that Trump beat Clinton, the pending Trump presidency wasn't a surprise to anyone else in the whole world. His election was pretty well covered in the international news. You could tell it was covered because a ****load of heads exploded that day. So, yeah, he met with Putin's rep before he officially took office and unless you want to set a precedent where an incoming president can't talk to foreign nationals at all you'll suck it up and go find something else to complain about."

Has anyone reported to Schweddy that PM time is showing as time sent on a post instead of the correct AM time?

Which FBI investigators were those who went on the record as saying they investigated and found nothing?

Why are Intelligence Chairs Sen. BURR of NC and Rep. NUNES of CA trying to help the WH cover up RUSSIAGATE ?

Prove that they are trying to cover up anything. But we know you absolutely can not do that.
You are just making wild charges with NO proof. False statement!!!

I would support this if there were the slightest evidence that a problem exists. Mounting an investigation to see if news is fake or real seems to me to go beyond the pale. There is no evidence whatsoever that the media reports are true. So he should drop it.

so, why would the FBI currently have three separate investigations into allegations of hacking in regard to the election process?
that is the type of thing the FBI does, investigate situations to determine if there is any merit concerning claims of unlawful activity.
There are Democrats & Republicans that are in support of having investiagtions take place so, that this can be put to rest.
These people are concerned about the election process & they are concerned about transparency.
You sound as if you would not be willing to allow the process to follow through; why?
Do you want a secret police state for your kids?

We aren't talking about hacking. We are talking about Trump's alleged ties to Russia. As it turns out there are none.

I didn't say that. Nor would it make any sense to be concerned about an investigation that is completed. Stay on topic.

That's why we have the FBI.

But the FBI is beholden to the Executive Branch. So is the Attorney General. Even if the FBI and federal prosecutors are unbiased, if the outcome of the investigation indicates that there was no wrongdoing, they will be accused of partisanship because the President is their boss. Thus the need for an independent query.

I'll believe it when he makes a formal request.

So will I . This seemed a half hearted endorsement of a special prosecutor ... at best.

I too would hope Trump would welcome a special prosecutor or a Select Committee. But he won't as there is fire to go with the smoke.

there are many calling for investigations into ALL OF THE ABOVE, everything, period.
No one knows if there are, or are not ties between tRump & Russia; that is why many are calling for investigations to be conducted.
Me stay on topic? what are U smoking?

Yes, hillary voters and Never Trumpsters who dont believe trump should be president anyway

Even if you find nothing the liberal media will make up something based on unnamed sources that cannot be verified

So my thinking is better to stop the enemy on the beach than let him run wild in the interior

Thats how to fight a war the right way

What are you reading? What purpose was served by insulting me?

Lets take this a few steps further, but only as a hypothetical scenario.

Lets say that an investigation is started and it draws to a conclusion and there is proof that the Trump campaign had "close" communications with the Russians and that Trump know/approved/directed them.
What laws does that break and if none what actions can result from it?

what purpose is served by you asking me to stay on topic?

It obviates the confusion caused by debating from a different page than everyone else.

The FBI has already investigated and found nothing

I don't believe that is remotely true. Cite please.

There is no coverup

Democrats want to hold a witchhunt that their partners in the liberal news media can promote on tv every night in an attempt to steal an election after the fact

Sorry, but that makes no sense. How do the Democrats "steal the election after the fact?" There is no possible outcome to a Trump investigation that has them "steal the election". Pence is not exactly an upgrade politically AND he would be tougher to beat than Trump in 2020.

The anti-Trumpers are going to say that, no matter who conducts the investigation. They'll be going on about how the Russians planted a mole in the investigation team.
