Nils Bildt, billed as a “Swedish defense and national security advisor” by Fox News, told O'Reilly that Naslund was “rather incorrect” and that there had been big problems with integrating immigrants into Swedish society. “These things are not being openly and honestly discussed,” Bildt said.

The Dagens Nyheter newspaper reported Friday that neither the Swedish armed forces nor the Foreign Ministry had heard of Bildt. Johan Wiktorin, a fellow at the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences, took to Twitter to suggest he had not heard of Bildt either.

FNC has recently gotten into this mess before. I can't recall when but I think it was recent like primary season. They are so desperate to prove their stories are real that they make up these people with fancy sounding credentials because no one is fact-checking the people they put on. They know this, so they can get away with it. Where are all the people whining about fake news now?

Fox News seems to be a both arrogant and reckless news organization. That they make the mistake with Nils Bildt less than one week after Donald Trump comment about look “what happen in Sweden last night”. Also less than a week since they own very faulty clip about Sweden. There both the interviewed policemen and the photographer was very critical of the filmmaker.

Also Nils Bildt seems to be good of promoting himself. That he got presented as a ”Swedish defense and national security advisor”. Without having any connection to Swedish security on one of USA’s biggest news channels. He also probably changed his last name to Bildt so people should believe he was related to Carl Bildt, former Swedish prime minister and diplomat. He may also need all the self-promotion he can get. Because he got a conviction after assaulting a law enforcement person.

Marie Pisäter at the Swedish Defense Ministry says that no-one called Nils Bildt works there. ”We have no spokesman by that name”, she said. The Foreign Office also denies that he works there. ”We do not know who he is.”

Nils Bildt is the son of Sven Tolling, well know in Swedish equestrian circles. Nils Bildt emigrated from Sweden in 1994. Nine years later he changed his last name from Tolling to Bildt, and he now runs several security companies in the United States. His last known address, according to Swedish registers, is in Tokyo. It is unclear if his companies are still in business.

Nils Bildt, who spoke on Fox News about crime in Sweden, is convicted of a violent offence himself, according to documents from Arlington General District Court in Virginia. Bildt was arrested on the 19th of June, 2014, for assaulting a law enforcement person and for obstruction of justice, after threatening an official. He was sentenced to one year in prison on the 10th of November the same year.

The scary part is that Donald Trump seem to believe Fox News, while he calls other news organization fake news and even the enemy of people. That if we Swedes weren’t so friendly people we would call Fox News the enemy of the Swedish people and also increase the price of Billy bookcases in states that voted for Donald Trump.

When a Swedish newspaper went looking for the man (Bildt), they found out that the man has a very different role. He is the founder of a consultancy firm that gives advice in the field of political strategies and security. The company has offices in Washington DC, Brussels and Tokyo, but there is no connection to Sweden.

"He is a total unknown in Sweden and has never been part of the Swedish debate", says a Swedish professor specialized in the armed forces. The professor who said this said that he had some classes with Bildt at King's College in London, after which Bildt left for Japan.

Also Bildt emigrated from Sweden in 1994. That it seems like Fox News and Donald Trump not only don't care about Sweden and other countries reputation, but also don't care about USA reputation. Because having American politcians and news media spreading false stories about other coutries can't be good for USA's reputation.

A while ago it was a made up story about IKEA naming a rainbow pillow Putin. That maybe it's soon time for IKEA to do it for real. For example naming a Pinata Trump, but as I said before we Swedes are probably to friendly to really do it.

Trump was ahead of the curve by a couple of days, since the riots happened literally the day after his comments.



Telling me "yes, but these riots weren't those riots" merely amounts to a bunch of rubbish.

A lot seem to be strange about Nils Bildt. Like for example he tried to be a MP for the far right party Sweden Democrats but they didn’t want to have him on their ballot.

He changed his last name to Bildt and claim to be cousin to former prime minister Carl Bildt but there is no evidence of that. He also claimed to have been a special advisor to Foreign policy committee in Japan and he led a research institute. While those claims and other claims can’t be verified.

That maybe he just a mythomaniac that got lucky and got the change to be presented as a Swedish defense and national security advisor on American national TV.

Is Sweden the only country that has riots and areas with more crime and social problems? That of course Sweden has problem that have to be dealt with like any other country. Still Sweden is a very safe and successful country compared to many other countries.

Like for example an American journalist, Tim Pool visited Sweden to find out the truth about “dangerous” Malmö and this is what he has to say.

American journalist Tim Pool has spent two days seeing 'dangerous' Malmö with his own eyes.
But the city did not live up to the bleak picture he had been told to expect.

"If this is the worst Malmö has to offer, then don't ever come to Chicago," Pool told news agency TT after visiting Rosengård, a neighbourhood with a high immigrant population.

This also backed up by statistics that Malmö has 3.1 murders per 100 000 while St. Louis has 59. For entire Sweden it is 1,1 and for USA 4,9 per 100 000.

I though the point Fox News, Donald Trump and far right group tried to make was that Sweden is a very scary place. Even if Sweden in reality is one of the world’s most peaceful and successful countries. Also what do you mean it always the same group. Do you don’t have for example hooligans, far right and far left rioting in the USA?
