Trump admin enlists intelligence officials, lawmakers to counter Russia stories

Dude I'm guessing pot is legal in your state and you are actively imbibing. Otherwise a lucid person can't actually believe this.

Dude, Im guessing you looked and can't find a single Trump quote that argues against my point. Or am i giving you more credit than you deserve?

Considering another criminal could have been elected would you be saying the same thing?

Absolutely...but if we are forced to have a criminal in the WH, at least have one that's narcissism, nonsensical rageaholic inability to stop grandstanding about every bull**** criticism that stems from a pathological form of paranoia about a phoney self-image and set of imaginary presidential skills - isn't the crux of the criminal's daily activities - but rather have a criminal who actually gets some legitimate elements of the job they are hired for.

I guess when we all get worn down by all of the boo-whooooing, "it ain't me, it's them, they or it" nonsense, then we just capitulate and do what the current criminals want us to do - and that is to shut the **** up and do what we're told. Then a lot of people will feel so much better - rather than having to stand up to blathering tyrants.

Look, our government has been ****ed up like Hogan's goat for eons. Does it need a serious overhauling? Absolutely! But neither Hillary or Trump are the person do it.

The saying, "Even doing something wrong is better than doing nothing at all.", isn't what we should subscribe to in this case.

Entering Casca's World... where the NYT has no credibility but Right Wing Publications do! Find Casca's truth in The Daily Caller, The Blaze and small town (Avon Park/Sebring) Central Florida Community newspaper called Highlands News-Sun!

Feel free to put up any information that argues against my point.

And yes the NY Times has no credibility. Its the single biggest reason they lose about a million dollars a month while those independent news sources are prosperous.

Also why NYT would be as dead as dog s**t without a Mexican billionaire propping them up.

I just read that a law professor has filed a lawsuit against Conway for her endless lying. We can only hope this case isn't dismissed. If there's any success to this lawsuit - I hope the law professor files a similar lawsuit against Trump.

What possible standing could the professor have in a case?

I hope he is willing to pay her legal bills when he loses.

Ah, yes. In the golden age of video, it won't be that difficult. Conway has lied the same lies over and over on every cable and network channel in the nation. And of course on the prez's favorite place to do his stand up comedy, Twitter and the like.

I hope after he easily wins he goes after Spicer, Bannon, and the Grand PooPah of all liars, Trump. Then weed out the rest that bought their appointments.

Maybe you didn't understand the question.

What standing does this professor have to sue a public official for what he thinks are lies?

What has this professor lost because of what he thinks are lies?

I realize that you are a Trump supporter. Obviously I'm not.

Conway can't be sued? Hell, Obama's entire administration has been sued

I understand 100%.

People are sued everyday for as many reasons as there are suits.

Let's wait and see what all the professor raises in his suit. As for my personal beliefs - what my eyes and ears have been able take from every televised interviews and grand standing about every obviously ridiculous , nonsensical bull**** that can dribble out of the mouths of everyone who have joined in on the parody of Trump politics...gosh, I can't wait. Trump is a master bull****ter. He's sued other people 3500 times. So no doubt he'll survive as always, but it'll be worth seeing him humiliated if nothing else. His ego is his most important asset. To Trump, that's worse than losing money.

Strike two.

Would you like to go for strike three?

What standing does this professor have to sue Conway?

I bolded it this time in case you didn't see it the last two times.

Well, it seems I misread about the filing...as a suit. I know by your intense post, you are serious, you need to get clarification and closure on my claim.

Instead of a lawsuit the following is taking place.

A group of 15 law professors nationwide has reportedly filed a professional misconduct complaint against White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, saying she "brings shame upon the legal profession."

The letter was filed with the office that handles misconduct by members of the Washington, D.C., bar, The Washington Post said Friday. Conway was admitted in 1995.

“We do not file this complaint lightly,” the group said in the filing, dated Monday. "We believe that at one time, Ms. Conway understood her ethical responsibilities as a lawyer and abided by them.”

Sadly, the professors are only going after her license. All I can say is, "Go professors, go!

But I have high hope that Trump will follow in Bill Clinton's footsteps and wind up in grand jury hearing and go down for perjury and is swiftly impeached.

As for the rest of Trump's wrecking crew, I hope if America has any chance of redemption, they'll disappear from their posts in disgrace.

We are getting closer and closer to Nixon territory. It won't be long until Trump really really blunders by seriously overstepping. I hope the whole lot get put in orange jumpsuits.

"Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!"

Sad!

That does make more sense, however it seems odd that a law professor is going to try to bring charges against a lawyer that lies.

It is their job to lie.

I don't really think so. The people who oppose him will continue to do so. Those that support him will continue to do so...for now.

I can't believe that you're so nonchalant about all of this. This stuff is really very bad, and Trump is just digging the hole deeper and deeper.

Do you think this stuff is just being made up out of thin air to fill time and paper?

In other words you have nothing but mindless gibberish.

feel free to give an example that counters my point, don't project your own mental state on me.

Sorry, just more fake news. The reality is that the FBI found nothing in its investigation. The white house the asked them to make that public to counter the fake news. The FBI said they wouldn't do it. The white house then referred the media to some members of the house who were aware that the FBI had found nothing. It is amazing how messy the press can make a report to try to do harm.

The reality is the FBI refuses to back the WH narrative.

I think the press is seriously biased. They are mischaracterizing the news intentionally and think they are the fourth branch of government. I also think the FBI should step up and clarify what happened.

It really is only a matter of time. Trump following the sins and failings of Nixon is a given since the two men share a deeply flawed personality and are far more comfortable with their darker side and their authoritarian tendencies.

Can you give me some examples of stories that are being mischaracterized?

Ya' know what? If you don't know what they are out of hand? We can't have a meaningful discussion. Respectfully, though, thank you.

Trump administration sought to enlist intelligence officials, key lawmakers to counter Russia stories

I'm not a detective, but I'm getting the distinct impression that the Trump administration would prefer that the Russia stories go away.

This is not to be confused with the attempt by the Trump Administration to get the FBI to quash the Russia stories in the media.
