Trump is a threat to the washington status quo
It definately isnt business as usual with him
Trump is putting a lot of liberals - and a few conservatives - out of their comfort zones
BUt I dont think he's going to end life as we know it on earth
He very well could because he has no controls on him that other Presidents have had.
The difference between Trump and Bush 1 & 2..... and throw in Nixon and Ford and Reagan and Carter and Obama and Clinton and JFK and LBJ and every president for the last fifty plus years is that every single one of them was a man of governmental institutions who respected government and used government. Even Reagan served as Governor of our most populated state. In addition, all were dedicated to their political party and would never blow it up.
Trump strikes out on both counts.
He is not a creature of government and has no loyalty to party. Trump acting rashly and harming the nation or his party is a real possibility since he has no braking system that the others do. He is like a car with no speed limit and is built like a tank keeping his safe from the usual harm that would deter others.
As such he is irresponsible in addition to his extreme narcissism which many professionals believe is a mental illness.
The closest you could compare him to is Nixon because of his deep personality flaws and mental state. But again, Nixon was controlled by his dedication to government and the party - and Trump is devoid of both of those.
He is a true free agent... a wild card ... an egomaniacal narcissist who could endanger everyone in this country - if not the world if he explodes.
