In an historic move by the Trump Administration, the White House has selectively banned media outlets from attending a press briefing. For the first time in American History, the fourth estate is under attack by a government out of control. This is only the beginning:

The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico were also excluded from the meeting, known as a gaggle. The Associated Press and Time magazine boycotted the briefing because of how it was handled. The White House Correspondents Association is protesting.
The conservative media organizations Breitbart News, The Washington Times and One America News Network were allowed in.

Thank you for posting this Breaking News of White House censorship of CNN, NYT, LAT, and Politico.

It's quite clear this is due to the White House denying wrongdoing in FBI conversations about Russia reporting.

I'm sure you all feel very comfortable with Sessions as AG.

Several news outlets allowed in, like AP, boycotted .
 
What a joke this is. I hope most media outlets call out the White House on this.

good for the white house. they shouldnt allow lies to be put out. those lies violate our rights to hear the truth. unbelievable what these "news" things r sayin

I just saw it live on CNN when I turned on my TV so it took a minute for them to post it on the site. It does appear now that that is what they are linking it too because CNN broke that story.

I think CPAC knew this was going to happen, because earlier yesterday they were advertising a link to the Washington Times on their Facebook page: "Tired of #FakeNews? Want to know what #RealNews looks [like]? Head to Washington Times instead."
 
Well, press briefings are about to get a lot more boring. "Mr. Spicer, how is Donald Trump so fantastic and the best human of all time?"
 
Should some media organizations, who are allowed into the press briefings, be like permanent members of the UN Security Council. What should be the qualifications for permanent membership to the press room?

I wouldn't want the WH to cherry pick organizations, but with a method of rotation among all those seeking press credentials would seem fair to me. The story doesn't seem to indicate anything beyond what happened today.

So ****ed up. But I'm sure the Trumpers will see nothing wrong with this, because remember, the media outlets that dissent or call out us on our bull**** or give us tough questions "are the enemy of the American people"

Those organizations are free to print any lie their active imaginations can think of

So there is no censorship

There should be no permanent membership in the press room. I vote for a daily lottery system. Same for the traveling corps.
