Doesn't really matter what good stories get posted, ignorant people will cling to their ignorance. Then if you stop posting, they'll start throwing a tantrum about how there are no moderate Muslims speaking up against violence and defamation. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

There's no point in cherry picking stories that condemn or support Muslims if the underlying sense of human decency has left. Bigots will be bigots. :shrug:

What group do you belong to that has done anything nearly as selfless?

A list no doubt. But thanks for the gutter shot, now I can spread the word on how American conservatives wil,. go to extreme lengths to slander an entire people. Now, where have we seen that in history?

My money is on an asshole did it. Speculating on race religion or sex doesn't really help in identifying the asshole who did it.

That also applies to people claiming it was a Muslim or Jew that did it.

Done by Jews or Muslims is 50/50? I would not think Jews would do such a thing, Muslims maybe a bit bigger chance but the overwhelmingly obvious suspects are antisemites (of the white variety). And the odds of them having done it is more 80 to 90% IMHO.

We need to stick together, especially right now. I once read an article about the Japanese communities in CA reaching out to Muslims, because they relate the fear and xenophobia they experienced during WWII to how they saw Muslims being treated.
