Ami Horowitz defends Sweden refugee claims

The simple answer is that Horowitz is deliberately misrepresenting the data at best.

What about the dozens and dozens of IED's going off in sweden by islamic immigrants? "shhhh" mirite?

Sweden is burning and they are in denial.

Nonsense. Grenades and bombs have been the weapons of choice of organized criminal organizations in Sweden since the early 90s. It has very little if anything to do with "Islamic immigrants."

Who lives in Malmo? Who make up these "organized crime" gangs you speak of?

How many grenade attacks are in other industrialized nations?

Swedish police comments 'taken out of context' in film cited by Trump

Two Swedish police officers interviewed for a documentary cited by Donald Trump as evidence of a link between crime levels and asylum policy in Sweden say their comments were taken out of context, accusing the interviewer of “bad journalism”. At a Florida rally on Sunday the US president sowed confusion by seemingly referencing a non-existent terrorist attack in Sweden, later explaining on Twitter that the comment had been a reference to a news segment on the Fox News TV channel, which described an “incredible surge of violence” in Sweden.

But two police officers interviewed for the broadcast told Dagens Nyeter newspaper on Monday that their interview had been edited and “we were answering completely different questions in the interview”. They described the filmmaker who interviewed them, Ami Horowitz, as “a madman”. Asked about his reaction to seeing the edited segment, Göranzon said: “We don’t stand behind it. It shocked us. He has edited the answers. We were answering completely different questions in the interview. This is bad journalism.”

So the fact that the Serbians have been lobbing grenades around Malmo for decades matters not to you if you can find the odd grenade thrown by some African immigrant? Let's also not forget that the origins of the grenades are almost entirely from former Yugoslavia and the Balkans and the Serbian mafia uses Malmo as a European hub for drug and arms smuggling for said grenades among other things. They're involved even on those occasions they're not pulling the pins themselves.

I must have lost my ability to read. I read the study done by the Swedish government and linked by Horowitz and PolitiFacts and find the following:
In the Swedish Crime Survey (SCS), 1.7 per cent of the population (16 – 79 years of age), corresponding to approximately 129,000 persons, state that they had been exposed to sex offences. This is an increase as compared with 2014, when 1.0 per cent stated that they had been exposed

https://www.bra.se/bra/bra-in-english/home/crime-and-statistics/rape-and-sex-offences.html

In my math, an increase from 1% to 1.7% is a 70% increase. Coincidentally in the same year that the number of applicants for immigration doubled from 81,000 to 163,000, from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq. And if the number in 2015 was 129,000 sexual offenses there were c. 75,000 the year before. Before this influx. Help me out.
And, yes, I realize that the report does not state the new immigrants caused this.

What "Fact"? you haven't shown facts. the word "grenade" doesn't even show up in your link.

face it, islamic immigrants are raping, doing violence and hurling grenades, as well as rioting. Sweden is burning.

Maybe all the crime and violence imported to Sweden should bother someone

But if the swedes dont mind becoming a violent society with 3rd world insanity neither do I

All I care about is not making the same mistake they did

The mistake isn't in allowing immigration or refugees. It's complaining that they aren't integrating on one hand while going to great lengths to marginalize and scapegoat them on the other.

Another correlation was a change in the law to expand the statutory definition of sexual assault.

That's liberalism for you

Do-gooders as long as it aint in their pristine back yard

But I wonder was sweden such a bad place to begin with that they want to bring in millions of aliens just to make it worse?

From your own link. Your first one does not work:

"Iraqi-born Ghanem Almanei described the attack on the Ramadan celebration, attended by some 50 people. "It was a really big bomb. It was women, girls inside." said Almanei, his voice shaking, half-an-hour after men on motor bikes threw a grenade against the building. "I don't feel safe now in this country.""

Thanks for your concession.

How is an Iraqi victim of an attack a concession and did you skip over the part about the leader of the largest gang being Serbian?

Sweden is burning because of it's immigration policy. I believe I have proved that point. Who gave them the grenades (another immigrant) is irrelevant.

I'm not referring to the anti-semitic problem in this post. The video is fairly new, posted in September 2016, and is showing the problems arising from the mass influx of refugees and immigration.
That was just one aspect I posted, and you Ignored my last sentence:
"Malmo has been a ZOO for a Decade for Police, Fire Dept, Jews, etc."

Additionally and again:
Have a Party!

Well, the report states:
In the Swedish system, individual reports regarding a great number of offences may affect and give rise to variations in the statistic. For instance, when a single case*is reported that turns out to involve*hundreds or even thousands of*instances of*offences committed against an*individual over the course of many years,*every single*incident is recorded*as an offence in the year*it was*reported. It is also important to remember that non-reporting is particularly extensive for sex offences and changes in the inclination to report can affect the number of rapes in the statistic.***[/QUOTE
So that would explain an change c. 2005 and in 2013. But it doesn't seem to explain what the report stated about the 70% increased from 2014 to 2015. Those new rules were in place in 2014 and 2015.

The photographer backs the claims of the policemen that Ami Horowitz distorted the fact. It gets both sad and disturbing that Donald Trump accuses mainstream media of being fake news. While at the same he seems to believe the clip from Fox News, there both the policemen and the fotograph says that Ami Horowitz misrepresented the facts.

Photographer Emil Marczak who filmed the interview has now backed the claims from the officers about being misrepresented. He says that Horowitz had a clear agenda and “repeatedly tried to get the police to agree with him”.

"To double check that my recollection is correct I went through the raw footage, and it confirms how the police have portrayed events. They said repeatedly that they had no information which could substantiate this kind of statement," Marczak told DN.
The camera operator added that he would not have taken the job if he knew "how unethically and frivolously the material would have been cut together".

Sweden video that inspired Trump was edited 'unethically', photographer who shot it says - The Local

There can be many reasons for changes in statistics about people exposed to sex offences in the survey and it's a very broad spectrum of crimes. Also that is the only statistics that have increased while reported sex offences, persons suspected of rape and people found guilty of sexual offences decreased or roughly the same between 2014 and 2015 according to the same source.

If by 'they' you mean the Swedish people the answer is simple: they were never asked. You should understand the proportional representation system in supposedly democratic Sweden is designed to take power away from the citizen and give to small elites within political parties.

then their reaction is understandable

it sounds like a minority of swedish liberals are try to force cultural change by unpopular decrees

Only in the minds of conservative extremists. It fits their apocalyptic worldview.
