NYPD: Hate crimes rise in 2017, led by anti-Semitic incidents

yes, I understand how war works; I know how many in the American Indian community see history too

your earlier comment, "Jews bought the land prior to 1947" is false, hence the actions of the 1948 Transfer Committee

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Jerusalem (After 1291)

"...5. Present condition of the City: (1907 edition)

Jerusalem (El Quds) is the capital of a sanjak and the seat of a mutasarrif directly dependent on the Sublime Porte. In the administration of the sanjak the mutasarrif is assisted by a council called majlis ida ra; the city has a municipal government (majlis baladiye) presided over by a mayor. The total population is estimated at 66,000. The Turkish census of 1905, which counts only Ottoman subjects, gives these figures: Jews, 45,000; Moslems, 8,000; Orthodox Christians, 6000; Latins, 2500; Armenians, 950; Protestants, 800; Melkites, 250; Copts, 150; Abyssinians, 100; Jacobites, 100; Catholic Syrians, 50. During the Nineteenth century large suburbs to the north and east have grown up, chiefly for the use of the Jewish colony. These suburbs contain nearly Half the present population...""

Link expired but the Ottoman Census figures, which form it's backbone, and I noted were from the Ottoman counts, are not in dispute.
The later numbers widely available.
The first line/1838 probably approximated using regression analysis.

Yeah I thought that interaction was particularly bad, even for Donald. He freaked out on that Jewish reporter for quoting statistics. Trump wouldn't even denounce it or call for his supporters to stop. It's not surprising considering his campaign was entirely centered around hate and denialism.
What makes you think the source of the violence is coming from trumps supporters? Since the election the violence seems to be predominately generated from the left.

Is there evidence it is related to his supporters and not, you know, the people that might hate Jews that someone wants to come to the country?

You know, the same group that is attacking Jews all over Europe right about now. :lamo
Thats actuallyba good point that i had not considered. It would be interesting to see if there is any corilation between the imflux of refugees and the rise in antisemtic violence

It's not false

Jews began buying Arab land around 1904

Alternative Palestinian Agenda - Land Ownership in Palestine/Israel

"After 42 years of organized well-funded efforts on the part of the Zionist organization, the total Jewish ownership of land in Palestine in 1947 was 1,734,000 dunums or 1,734 square kilometers, which is 6.6% of the total land."

6.6% is not much compared to what Israel currently occupies

"As a result of the 1948 war and the armistice agreements Israel reached with Egypt and Jordan, Israel controlled 20.5 million dunums of the total land of Palestine, representing 78% of the land. The vast majority of these lands were owned by Palestinian residents who were evacuated from their villages or who fled their homes during the war."

so, as a result of the War & the treaty Israel stole about 71% of the land they currently occupy.
sounds like they learned from the American/Native American situation.

"The ethnic cleansing campaign started in the 1948 war where by the Jewish militias ethnicly cleansed 418 Palestinian villages, seized their properties and depopulated 11 Palestinian cities and took them for their own use. The 1948 war was not the only cycle of ethnic cleansing, between October 1948 to November 1949, the Israeli army evacuated the villages of al-Safsaf, Iqrit, Kufr Biram, Kufr 'Anan, Khasas, Jau'neh, Qayttiyeh, al-Ghabasiyya, al-Majdal, and al-Battat and later seized all of their properties. In 1951 the Israeli army evacuated 13 villages in the triangle area and seized their properties. In October 1956 the Israeli army forced the Palestinian Bedouin tribe al-Bakara to cross the border into Syria. In October 1959 some Bedouin tribes in the Negev desert were forced to cross the borders into Egypt and Jordan. The lands for all these villages and tribes were confiscated after their cleansing"

here we have what would today be considered war crimes but it was OK then.

what does this tell us?
Looks like 6.6% of the land was paid for via a financial tool so, about 93% of currently occupied land was gained via oppression & war crimes.

thanks for the link :peace

Are you saying none of those groups can't manage to make it 4 hours to Manhattan?

The arabs would have had more but they rejected a peaceful settlement offered by the UN and lost 4 wars to Israel

Why does it matter if the anti-semitism is being carried out by Trump's supporters? Is the bar for Trump so low that he only has to care about anti-semitism if it's done by someone that also supports him?
He does care. Hence his eo suspending travelers from anti semetic countries admittance here

One of the worst things about Trump is that his public stance that you describe has been a sort of permission slip for others to more publicly show their racism and uglier side. The numbers seem to support that.
Unfortunately we cant stop the lefts poor behavior. We are hoping they wear themselves out and come back to sanity

I understand your point BUT like I said, "about 93% of currently occupied land was gained via oppression & war crimes" ........

people are (obviously) still fighting this ........... is it right?

man has fought man in war since day one; don't expect anything to change, right, or wrong

Project much? Jews know antisemitic acts have increased and they know whose followers feel enabled by him.

From the Anne Frank Center.

“The President’s sudden acknowledgement is a Band-Aid on the cancer of Antisemitism that has infected his own Administration. His statement today is a pathetic asterisk of condescension after weeks in which he and his staff have committed grotesque acts and omissions reflecting Antisemitism, yet day after day have refused to apologize and correct the record. Make no mistake: The Antisemitism coming out of this Administration is the worst we have ever seen from any Administration. The White House repeatedly refused to mention Jews in its Holocaust remembrance, and had the audacity to take offense when the world pointed out the ramifications of Holocaust denial. And it was only yesterday, President’s Day, that Jewish Community Centers across the nation received bomb threats, and the President said absolutely nothing. When President Trump responds to Antisemitism proactively and in real time, and without pleas and pressure, that’s when we’ll be able to say this President has turned a corner. This is not that moment.”

If the arabs had wised up after any of the first 3 defeats they would have more land

But they just keep pounding their head against a wall

Honestly I think they are beyond repair at this point and I see no solution in sight

and from today

More Bomb Threats Close Jewish Community Centers Across The Nation | The Huffington Post

Since Trump became president, anti-Semitic attacks have exploded in numbers. New York is recording over 100% rise in the first 6 weeks of the year.

Funny how there is not much reporting about this , even when the President pisses up and down on a Jewish reporter asking about it..

The state of denial is massive...

How about listening to what that reporter had to say about Trump and the press conference:

your inane response makes no sense on any level as a reply to the lead in from me you pretended you were replying to.

A buncha white supremacists in NYC, are there? It's a heavily Democrat town, afterall.

Lol....its a false flag op by the " resistence " and they think people are dumb enough to buy into it

What he did to that reporter was shocking. The man asked a general question and Trump, who apparently can't listen any better than he can speak, went off on a tangent about his Jewish grandchildren and said he wasn't an anti-Semite, even though the reporter never said he was, never implied he was. That was disgraceful, childish, ignorant and un-Presidential.

The reporter wasn't outraged or shocked, he actually defended Trump after all the overblown reports of what happened came out. Why are you so upset?

Yeah, saw the reporter on CNN this afternoon. The "news" lady did not look happy that he wasn't all outraged....lol

al taqiyya is a staple of Islamic jihad....

The Democratic party is literally trying to manufacture a rising wave of anti-semitism so they can continue to push their bs white supremist narrative.

This is so incredibly true. Many millenials and brainwashed liberals actially think there is some empowered nazi white supremacist movement in charge and taking over America... That's also why they think it justifies poor behavior towards people who disagree with them because "I have no tolerance for intolerance *curses out Trump supporter*"

Welcome to DP. I'll give you some advice. Posters posting about not caring for the President's actions doesn't make them upset, it means they're voicing an opinion. You'll learn if you stick around for a while.
