Donald Trump is uniquely American fascist. Stephen Bannon is the classic fascist -- he could have existed on Mussolini's Fascist Council or in Hitler's inner circle. As it is, Bannon has to settle for being Donald Trump's leading strategist. Likewise for his supporters who ask for nothing more while awaiting the developing course of action.

Of course it is progressive

Hitler and Stalin had big ideas for the New Germany and Soviet Union.

Dictatorship and authority were just means to an end for them

In the fevered mind of a progressive the future is going to be wonderful if they can just past the little people who are in the way

And modern progressives are no different

Progressives all have big ideas for the world

For them democracy and representative government is just a necessary evil that you have to put up with while you destory all the little people - conservatives, greedy capitalists, Christians, homophobes, nationalists, gun owners, Fox News and Rush Limbaugh listeners that do not think like you do.

Progressives will not be as obvious as the Nazi's or the Soviets.

But in the end they will not tolerate any dissent or wrong thinking in the new world they are building.
