I misunderstood her. It was just the McDonalds inside Walmart.

Fake news from me. :)

Honestly, who is against legal immigrants? I don't think anyone.

This protest would have been more interesting if it were a day without illegal immigrants. I believe that would have impacted the discussion more. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, mebbe. But that approach may have backfired and caused some unintended consequences for the organizers. Like illustrating with clarity just how many Illegals those restaurants have on their payrolls. Could get dicey.

And it would also undermine the current effort by many on the left to erase the distinction between Legal immigrants and Illegal immigrants. Which is at the heart of the present campaign.

I've heard La Raza go so far as to say that raza means 'community'. It's ridiculous, the same creative alt truth that always comes from the left; when they get caught in a lie, they try to distort the truth by changing the meaning of laws or words or ideas.

When you get subsidised by the FedGov you will say anything, including outright iies

Maybe so but that depends on the available supply of hungry shoeless illegal aliens willing to d the job

What happens if we build the wall and they stop arriving to to the work?
Then the price of beef and pork goes up to where you can't afford it and you consider becoming vegetarian.

Undocumented immigrants make up a significant portion of the country’s agricultural workforce. A 2016 Pew Research Center study showed undocumented workers are in about 26 percent of the nation’s farm jobs. That will never change. The machine is well in motion and the operators have no intention of changing mechanics. The world’s largest meatpacking company which is JBS has stated that it doesn’t anticipate any complications from this trend in increased immigration enforcement. Care to guess why that is?

Hey there pragmatic...How have you been...? I think you're spot on here, but this push to erase the distinction between legal, and illegal has been going on for some time now....
