I think that would be a good choice as well as a number of Generals that were forced out of the Obama administration because they refused and bucked him on his feckless foreign policy. There were numerous Generals that were forced into retirement because they would buck Obama.

I'd put more on someone has dirt on his boss for the very same thing and he's the fall guy. Trump has probably been negotiating a return favor with the nation's enemy ever since they figured out to dig up dirt on his own political enemies

Oh yeah, i have no doubt that Trump was doing the same long before Flynn. And you have to ask why Flynn would care so much to reassure Putinland before Trump even takes office. Obviously deals in place, return favor time

Interesting that as of a few minutes ago Breitbart still had not posted that he is gone. They got caught expecting it to go the other way I think, gotta figure out a way to look not dumb now.

This is only getting started. The White House has known about this for weeks.

WTF has the White House been doing since then? Pence should have been briefed in January that Flynn was lying. How does that conversation go down? Oh hey, remember when I went out of my way to go on national TV to defend you.. Well turns out you lied to me.. and it kind of seems like you might be working with the Russians. But it's okay. We'll let you sit in on the most important matters of national security because you're clearly so trustworthy.

  1. Flynn lies to everyone including the VP.
  2. Intelligence is worried that Flynn is potentially being subjected to blackmail by Russia
  3. Flynn has long standing ties including payments received from Russia
  4. Flynn has conducted many conversations with Russia potentially including encrypted communications (Who was he encrypting against?)
  5. Flynn conducted some of these conversations during the campaign.

How on earth do you keep your job for weeks after that? If an employee did that to me they'd be gone. Why was he not gone the day Pence found out? Was he more powerful than Pence? I'd say that the only think that makes sense was that he was doing what Trump asked him to, except why on earth would Trump screw Pence like that? It's completely needless and strategically asinine.

It's NOT over.
At whose behest, by what authority, was he discussing sanctions?
The investigation, and what else was in the phone calls/other encrypted contacts has yet to be fully found or disclosed.
Dem-doc-Leaks for Dropping Sanctions looks very possible. (and Trump's Man Crush explained)
