So I was following this all day.

This guy made the rounds in the news and got plenty of face-time on TV. His body was found washed up on the river's bank. They withheld his cause of death which of course I was extremely curious to know. Did he drown on his fishing trip? Murdered? What?

Then near the end of the day I heard it was a bullet wound to his head. Which of course made me wonder, killed by opposition? Killed by in-fighting within the Klan?

Nothing so dramatic:

Wife, stepson charged in murder of KKK imperial wizard

An autopsy found that Frank died from a gunshot wound to his head, the Park Hills Daily Journal reported. Frank was killed on Feb. 9 inside a bedroom at the home he shared with Malissa, according to a probable cause statement, the paper reported. According to authorities, Malissa Ancona said that her biological son shot her husband, who was sleeping, in the head.

Authorities obtained a search warrant and found extensive blood in the master bedroom on Feb. 11, the Daily Journal reported.

Now I'm curious as hell of intent/motive.

They'll just find another necktard to replace him.

Simple domestic dispute, you will get the story in about 2 years on the ID channel. Jack Kenda will narrate.

Pretty much my thoughts. I'm thinking he was abusive and they got sick of it?

Does MO have the old Texas common law defense to homicide: "He just needed killin' defense"

I heard a little bit about this.

My understanding was that his son killed him, and his wife helped her son dump the body and try to clean the scene of the crime.

I don't recall motive being mentioned.

Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I used that in the courtroom and walked out the door.

I'm not making that up. When I was a IL, our Law professor played a tape. It involved some coach-maybe a karate instructor-who sodomized some boys and then fled the state. He was extradited and when the Texas state police were taking custody of the defendant from the USMS at the airport, the father of one of the raped boys (who had been standing at a telephone booth and pretending to be on the phone) pulled a Revolver and executed the suspect with a shot to the back of the head. The professor asked what the guy was convicted of and we all had answers from premeditated murder to voluntary homicide and it turns out the GJ refused to indict and the reason was=the guy just needed killin'

Okay, obviously my comment didn't come across as intended.

Here in Texas it is also known simply as "He needed killing".
