NH Senate race that swung on 743-vote margin may have been decided by 6,000 out of st

Re: NH Senate race that swung on 743-vote margin may have been decided by 6,000 out o

Scott Brown's campaign was 3 years ago. That still doesn't explain why he says there were 3000 MA residents bused up here on Election Day in 2016, with no evidence at all to support it.

Believe they are speaking about the college kids voting in 2 states. That's what started this whole controversy, that several members of Trumps campaign were found to be registered in 2 different states. Hence why the full crackdown on going after college kids in several of the new laws.

Just for grins, I looked it up, and you're wrong actually. The test in NH is domicile, not resident. From the NH Constitution, Bill of Rights, Article 11:

And where you live is your domicile, even if you only plan on being there for a year or two.

Also, too, see this discussion.

I wonder what they call us who have our domicile in NH. Domicilees?

Maybe that's because, it's all *cough* -- complete bull**** -- *cough*.

New Hampshire Republican Offers $1,000 for Voter Fraud Proof

Fergus Cullen, the former chairman of the New Hampshire GOP, says that any potential tipsters needn’t identify all of the thousands of illegal voters. Evidence of a single illegal vote, cast by someone who boarded a bus to the Granite State, will suffice.

I will pay $1000 to 1st person proving even 1 outofstate person took bus from MA 2 any NH polling place last ElectionDay #mapoli #nhpolitics

Re: NH Senate race that swung on 743-vote margin may have been decided by 6,000 out o

Did I miss the part where he said after the election that he saw 3000 MA residents on buses? And where he said it a few days before it actually happened?

You're missing what's being discussed here, Pilot.

I don't think I am. Its not just that these bozos went on national tv and said this crap but now the news media is digging and pulling up all past references by repubs in NH over the years talking about voter fraud. So now its giving them some sort of credibility as others have said it repeatedly before but now suddenly are backing away from their statements since Trump said it. That makes us in NH look bad.

No, that isn't what Miller was talking about. He was talking about Election Day, 2016, and he didn't say it was buses of college kids. He said there were 3000 MA residents who were brought up here on that day, registered with no proof of living in NH, strictly to throw the state for Hillary and Hassan.

He says everyone in the state knows about it. You live here. Did you see it? And if so, where did they dump these people off to vote without any proof of living here? Nashua? Dover? Claremont? Manchester? Berlin? Nobody can say. But they insist it happened.

And the only reason they insist that is because Trump is bitter that he lost the state. Has Kelly Ayotte claimed this happened?

The news media isn't giving any credibility to Miller and Trump. In fact, just the opposite. They're calling out Miller for the liar that he is. He made a fool out of himself on Sunday.

HAHA I saw that. I posted about it earlier, too.

Cullen has made a 35+ year career out of politics in our state. Nobody, and I mean not even the Sununu family, knows more about voting in NH than Fergus. Even he knows it's bull****. I laughed when I heard about his bounty offer.

Indeedy. I know all the Sununu's - what a mess.

I got a kick out of this:

Oh my ****ing God, I just wet my pants from laughing!

I only know John and John Junior. I met Chris briefly on the campaign trail. I didn't vote for him in the primary but did vote for him in the General. I know you and I have differing views on the candidates so you probably didn't vote for Chris. ;)

Every state has their own definitions of resident and non resident. Some have wait limits to register. Believe I saw NH is looking to make people wait 90 days to register.
90 days? Doesn't sound constitutional.

No, I def. didn't vote for any of them. Met senior John over 30 years ago (first at a wedding reception) - Whew, well, let's just say B.O. and major bad breath & really bad in-person presentation....Junior was at my house on numerous occasions, and Chris, meh. That's all I'm gonna say.

John Senior is icky, I agree. I like Junior. He used to host a big event every year for his campaign volunteers at The Castle in the Clouds. I think he's the best of the bunch.

Today when I was watching Spicer it struck me that he looks like a Sununu.

And where you live is your domicile, even if you only plan on being there for a year or two. As you point out for no apparent reason, having plans to move would disqualify you as a "resident" but you'd still be eligible to vote per the NH constitution.

Yes, exactly. I acknowledged this way back on Page 2, that's what started this whole line of discussion:

"Proof of domicile"? So you dont even have to be a legal resident in NH. Interesting.

This is just Trump pandering to his "you can't trust anyone who doesn't look like me voters."

Yes, Kudo's to him on his persistence and sense of humor.

What a guy.

He might be getting a shame-tweet from Trump soon.

I have to watch this. He's going to make Trump's head explode any day now. And then I'll laugh like a hyena when Trump goes after him.

Yes, exactly. I acknowledged this way back on Page 2, that's what started this whole line of discussion:

I doubt it you have to be a "legal resident" anywhere. If that was the standard, soldiers couldn't vote in ANY state, since they know they're moving in a year or two, same with many executives, retirees, students who have left home for good, etc.

Besides, to everyone, where you have your home is where you are a "resident", no matter if your plans are to stay a year or forever. Not one person in 10,000 would make a distinction between residence and domicile in real life. "Why no, Margaret, we are not residents, this is merely our domicile..."

Damn, I missed my chance to make some money. I could have gone there and tried to vote myself, then turned myself in, saying "Gimme the damn money now". LOL.

Most places uses licenses or non driving IDs as common forms of proving residence. Some others can be utility bills, rental statements, mortgages etc. The problem has been with some voter ID laws is out of state students don't have licenses in the state they go to school only where they live. So where are they domiciled?
