Poll: 'Bowling Green massacre’ justifies executive order

The next time you see a poll that says that a large number of people support Trump's Muslim ban, or that Trump is more honest than the media, it's good to also keep this in mind.

Poll: Majority of travel ban supporters say fake ?Bowling Green massacre? justifies executive order | TheHill

Shame on you for politicizing this tragic event.

Shame!! ;)

anyway as I said many times. Conservatives are lazy, they refused to check things out for themselves. They just sit there and listen to someone else telling them what to think and believe.

Obama misspoke. While he made those two idiotic mistakes, he also didn't lie about the media.

Let's look at what Kellyanne said:

"I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre."

She claimed (without any real success) that she slipped up and meant to say "terrorists". So the sentence would then have come out at this:

"I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green terrorists."

The terrorists were the masterminds behind themselves. Their Bowling Green selves, to be exact. Of course.

If that's "misusing" words, then I'm really Angelina Jolie.

By the way, Obama never issued a ban. The State department slowed down the issuance of Visas. But Iraqis continued to come into this country in every month in that year. Yes, even right after the tragic massacre in Bowling Green.

Kellyanne would be wise to focus on being the spokeswoman for Ivanka's shoes.
The Obama administration barred all refugee applicants for a period of 6 months.

"I wouldn't be surprised if there were many more than that," said House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul. "And these are trained terrorists in the art of bombmaking that are inside the United States; and quite frankly, from a homeland security perspective, that really concerns me."

As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets. One Iraqi who had aided American troops was assassinated before his refugee application could be processed, because of the immigration delays, two U.S. officials said. In 2011, fewer than 10,000 Iraqis were resettled as refugees in the U.S., half the number from the year before, State Department statistics show."

6 month ban....half the refugees...yep...that adds up correct.

Same verbiage = same incident.

And rightfully so, since it was revealed their vetting process failed and they let in terrorists.

Iraqis continued to enter the United States for every month in 2011. If there was a ban, no Iraqis would have been able to enter the country. There was no ban, There was, by your own words there, a slowdown of Visa processing by the State Department.

And according to the fake news purveyors at ABC, whose words you relied on to make your case, there was an imminent thread to the US at the time. What is the imminent threat to the US that prompted President Trump's immediate and out of the blue ban? Do we have evidence of Iraqis living in Kentucky or another state plotting against the US?

Well, let's see, the thread starts off with Trump supporters believing an easily verifiable lie that Conway told three times, and you try to derail it with Obama's 57 states comment even though nobody was idiotic enough to believe that there are 57 states, and when that didn't work you tried taking it in the direction of another lie, that being that Obama enacted a Muslim ban. Your ability at lying and deflection was just smooth enough to make me wonder if you were the online persona of Kelley Anne Conway herself.

I'm just curious...when you were in a rush to post those talking point defenses of the Obama administration and indictments of the Trump EO...did you bother to read them? Did you notice that they all proved exactly what I said...that in fact the Obama administration, based on a terrorist threat...banned the processing of Iraqi refugees for 6 months?

Holy crap. Vancemack took one look at this thread and declared, "I am going to hijack this thread and unleash a bull**** tsunami the likes of which has never been seen by any man alive, OR MY NAME ISN'T VANCEMACK!"

Wait...arent you the same tres borrachos that for several days insisted bans were apparently only valid if there was an ACTUAL terrorist attack, like...you know...the Saudis from the 9/11 attack? :lamo

So Obama protected this country from terrorist threats. Hmmm....I guess we need to thank him, then. All of us, in all 57 states.

You also overlooked the fact that Obama's State Department ceased issuing Visas for a period of time while he looked at the policies. Trump's EO banned people who already have Visas from entering the country. There isn't a comparison to be made.

The only ban I'm aware of happening is the one President Trump issued, on people from 7 countries that never sent anyone here to attack us. Even people who already have Visas, meaning they've already been vetted. Call me crazy for being logical. I'm not a Trump devotee.

Iraqi refugees were banned for 6 months. Is that not what I said?

Muslims from 189 countries, including the most populous Muslim nations on the planet were still allowed under the Trump EO including MOST from the 7 terrorist nations identified by Obama after being exposed to additional scrutiny. You are so anxious to **** yourself over every little thing that you miss the FACTS. That, or this is the absolute WORST 'Muslim 'ban' every conducted.

Logic? :lamo

You are a walking talking points bulletin board. Your comparisons of the current concerns re vetting and the 9/11 terrorists...baby that **** was CLASSIC.

How many Muslims were still allowed to travel into the US under that 'Muslim ban'? How many from those 7 nations were allowed in after advanced screening?

Or didnt they give you those numbers to regurgitate?

Nobody was banned, unless you can produce a specific order from President Obama banning everyone from Iraq. I'm sure you can, right?

Yes, I know...Trump is still allowing countries that already sent people hell bent on killing Americans to continue to send their people here. I know I lose sleep every night thinking about all of those crazed Iraqis who shot up schoolyards and nightclubs and places of business. The ones that the media didn't report on, you know.

Muslims from the countries that have attacked the United States on our own soil can still enter the country. They aren't included in the Trump ban. Maybe you missed that?

So it is a "Muslim ban"? Well, Trump did promise you that, so I guess he's working on delivering the ban you all wanted. He's 7 countries there.

By the way, it's good to see you use that smiley face so much when talking about terrorist attacks on this country. I forget sometimes how easily amused the Trump devotees are.

It wasn't a misstatement, because she said it on three different occasions. And half of Trump's supporters are gullible enough to believe it even though it's the world's most easily verifiable lie.

Meanwhile, I'm still looking for my 3 legs. I think some Iraqi living in Kentucky sent them home to his wife as a trophy.

Don't try to follow that logic train.

Now I understand.

Believe in an event that never happened to prevent attacks that never happened...what the ****, TV is too real for you or what?

Knowing that, I'm starting a new business...waterfront property in Utah.

Americans will buy it when you tell them no terrorists are allowed and the waterfront is coming, just wait.

Stupid....it's the only word that fits

Yes INDEED. We SHOULD thank him. Hell...that was some pretty nasty **** those two had planned. You might want to read the FBI report. Turns out...its RESPONSIBLE to halt refugee processing when it is discovered that you have a problem.

https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4554555/director-comey-testimony-homeland-security

Comey...Johnson...numerous Obama admin officials have ALL stated we CANNOT properly vet Syrian refugees. We can spend 1, 2, 3, 5 years...as long as we want...and we still cant properly vet them because A-there are no state records to vet them against and b-ISIS controls access to passports, the creation of official birth documents, etc. We KNOW we cant adequately vet them. So...let them in anyway? That seems rather a stupid position to take. Wouldnt you agree?
