I ain't your babe. I just asked if you had anything else, doesn't mean I don't like it. If asking for a couple different sources is putting my head in the sand, whatever, I don't just look at one poll and call it a day. Looking at you as someone who supports the ban of an entire religion, you certainly don't represent the majority.

Do they though? I can find a poll that says a third of all Americans believe bigfoot is real or that there are UFO. What exactly does a poll prove?

We shouldn't wait to hear what other people think before forming our own opinions.

Chatham House - founded in 1920, the original 'think tank' , high profile, highly esteemed - conducted reseach including 14,000 interviews in many European countries. Their report is to be taken very seriously.

Btw the headline figure '55% of Europeans do not want further Muslim immigration' should be seen alongside '20% would accept further Muslim immigration'. The other 25% were, of course, the -'don't knows'.

Seems like a strange non-sequitur.
An agency that tracks this stuff lists 30,277 Islamic terrorists attacks since 9/11/01 so there is no reason to "hope" for a terrorist attack. "Fortunately" almost all of those attacks are in Muslim countries, against people who apparently aren't as Muslim as they should be. And that is not really "fortunate". It is extremely sad and depressing.

Yes.

I'm not for an all-out ban, but I am for such extreme vetting that unless we are 100% sure the individual (of any religion) is not a threat to society, said individual should not be allowed into the country.

That means a lot of Muslims will not get in because we cannot vet them to the degree necessary. These people can thank the bad actors of their own faith for doing the damage... not America for protecting its citizens.

It was... you seemed more excited about being called "Babe" than a poll which illustrates Europeans do not want Muslims at all... and this is due to their being a threat to peaceful society.

I spend ample time in Europe... I understand their concern.

They let in a million people... and what you do not see is the resources spent trying to find bad actors amongst them. Just today I heard they stopped a terror attack in Germany... Muslims. A Nigerian and Algerian... born in the country!!!

Vegetarians seem peaceful.
Buddhists seem peaceful.
Catholics seem peaceful.
Protestants seem peaceful.
Muslims... not so peaceful.

And right now another in France... as I write.

It's not that I'm concerned about being called babe, it's just I asked you to stop after I had already told you I'm not your babe. Maybe I could try a "babe ban" on you since those are so effective.

I am very concerned about terrorism but I just don't see why you get so excited when I simply ask if there are some more sources which show the majority of Europeans want a Muslim ban. That's a big claim and I sometimes like to get second opinions. A second opinion can save your life ya know. ;)

A second opinion could save your life, but in this instance it seems it'd do the opposite knowing what everyone knows about Muslims and the threat of terrorism from that faction.
