Putting knee jerk reactions aside, Andrew Puzder took a regional chain of fast food restaurants and turned it into a large successful national business providing opportunity for thousands to gain job skills and disciplines that will pave the way for successful careers.

He has the skill, background, and talent, to provide necessary insight into job growth and business health, lacking in recent holders of the position.

Heh. Hard not to linger on that image a bit. Weird that Puzder is somehow responsible for the labor practices of franchised operations, among other goofy claims, including having the audacity to question unemployment numbers. How dare he? Prolly not fit to clean urinals. The worstest nomination ever, until the next one comes up for consideration.

He gave you some reasons. You could address them or make up arguments he didn't make and based on those conclude Schumer's complaints have no merit.

Bottom line from my perspective is hiring him for labor secretary is like putting someone from Exxon, or a coal mining company, in charge of EPA.

So many people in and around DC have employed illegal housekeepers I'm beginning to wonder if there actually are any legal ones around. It's almost like a qualifying element. "Have you ever employed an illegal housekeeper?" "Why yes. Yes I have." "Okay. Wonderful. That's a check. You will be questioned and chastised for employing an illegal, but in DC this should speed your confirmation. Everyone in DC has employed an illegal housekeeper. They don't want you to occupy any moral high ground here."

I don't see anything that should be an issue. However, not surprised CNN is attempting to connect lines that likely don't exist.

CKE Restaurants is a franchising operation. I don't know what the latest figures are, but I would guess over 85% of the units are franchisees. Employee complaints don't trace themselves all the way back to the Parent Corporation.

Un-documented worker? The leader of the California Senate just admitted "almost everybody (illegal alien) has fake I.D.. Is Puzder supposed to be ICE?

Disses employees? Do you know what the turnover rate is for fast food restaurants? There is nothing inaccurate about his statement. Blunt? Yes. So?

Skeptical about the unemployment rate? Who isn't, outside those desperate to use them for political validation?

Racy Ads? Really? REALLY? Turn on prime time on the networks and cable and get back to me.

At odds? Well, like 10's of millions, perhaps he waded through the MSM propaganda and changed his opinion. Certainly says something about President Trump who was willing to focus on talent to benefit the Nation, over comments that he may not have appreciated once.

As a supplier to CKE Restaurants for over 20 years, I know Andrew Puzder. I know his ability to identify talent and let them run with the ball. Hardee's would have failed without his rescue, and many thousands of people would never have had that first job to start their careers.

That is the type of person and thinking needed to get this economy going.

The Senate pro tem, the highest ranking member of the Legislature in California, just went on record stating that half his family is illegal, and almost all of them use stolen identities in order to get jobs. In fact, regarding all illegal aliens, he stated "almost everybody uses fake I.D., it's what's needed to survive."

So is Puzder supposed to know his housekeeper used stolen documents when she presented herself? Do you know she didn't?

Crash and burn on that one. The Senate Pro Tem just crushed the lefts entire illegal alien argument.

Better get busy inventing a new one.
