I go to "left wing sites" all the time and haven't EVER seen that ridiculous claim.

But the point, again, is very simple - it's lazy hackery to make up crap like that and attribute it to mythical "left wingers." Much more productive to, you know, quote someone with a link so we know which 'left winger' is making absurd claims. If it's from a comment section, I don't much care....

Let me put it this way. Unless you're a moron, you do not believe and/or agree with EVERYTHING that appears on any conservative site or media outlet. So why would I assert that if it appears there, it's a "conservative" position AND if you are a conservative, because it appeared on a conservative site, you agree and it's fair for me to assert that as YOUR position? Obviously that would be stupid.

Likewise, you may read all kinds of stuff on the mythical "true" left wing sites you regularly frequent, but that doesn't mean it's a "left wing" position or that any left winger other than the writer agrees with it.

Not sure what is hard about this. You made a stupid assertion that "left wingers" you can't identify believed something. It was bullcrap, no left winger I've ever read has made a similar comment, and instead of quoting someone you just keep insisting that unnamed people believe it.

That's why quotes are important. Bernie's quote said nothing of the sort. If you'd like, you can quote Bernie and tell me any of it that you think is untrue, and we can talk about his actual comments and have a productive discussion since I can see his words, instead of your made up interpretation of them!

OK, just really briefly since you don't seem to understand words have actual meaning:

These are NOT the same:

1) Politically active and right wing pastor Ted Haggard was a closet homosexual and meth user.
2) All politically active pastors on the right are homos and drug addicts.

So why do you think,
1) CEO X at Company A does this specifically described bad act B,
2) ALL CEOs do that bad act B?
