Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump veered off script at the start of the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday when he asked a room full of lawmakers, foreign dignitaries and religious leaders to pray for Arnold Schwarzenegger so that ratings of his show -- NBC's "The Apprentice" -- would go up.

Trump, who lauded the six-decade long traditional gathering as a "testament to the power of faith" was introduced by Mark Burnett, the television producer who teamed up with Trump to create "The Apprentice." The hit show arguably launched Trump's political ambitions.
Trump left the show, however, in 2015 as he explored a presidential run and Burnett replaced him with Schwarzenegger, the movie star and former California governor.

Have you no shame Donald? I'm sure his fans see no problem with this...

What makes no sense is that the show never cracked the top 35 on television in its best days with Trump. What's he so damned proud of?

LOL

There is another thread on this. But its good to see CNN continued their quest to establish their label of chief of fraud filled news.

Missing from their screed is the fact at the beginning of President Trumps remarks, he was simply acknowledging a 5 minute long complementary introduction of Mark Burnett, and the story he told about how he met President Trump, and how together they created the Apprentice. President Trumps comments on Arnold were offered in a light hearted way, and was evidenced in the way the audience responded to his comment.

How quaint it is to see CNN blow these dog whistles, and confirm their agenda, and the gullibility of the pack they apparently believe is the only audience left for them.

Here's a synopsis of every Obama speech ever given.

I...me...I...I....me....my....I....me....I....me.....etc, etc, etc.

The guy was a narcissistic, unaccomplished fraud.

Lulz. You desperately need to pay better attention.

Clearly a conflict of interest using a prayer breakfast to promote a show of which he is executive producer.

Certainly not worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, but perhaps they should impose an Emmy on him.

I laughed...lol

Yet another thread on this...and apparently no one watched the video because of you did you would have seen that he was joking. He was responding to the guy that introduced him. It was in jest...fun. The crowd laughed.
But then...the crowd in attendance apparently wasnt a bunch of hate filled people committed to **** themselves over Trumps every word.

Thanks. When I first read the story this morning, I though I wish Trump would just stop. Based on your comment, I watched the actual video. This is a nonsense complaint. It was clearly meant to elicit laughter and was just Tump giving Burnett a hard time.

I suspect these left wing antics (protests, silly complaints, and false media reports) will work as well as they did in Wisconsin during the Act10 years.

That's good that you took the time to watch it.

What the American people need to continue to wake up to is the effort of CNN, and other members of the lefts MSM, to spread nothing but propaganda. They count on people like those posting here to continue with the lies, spin, and distortions they created for them.

It is a very dangerous thing the MSM is doing, and the people need to reject their efforts, and the efforts of those who have bought into their agenda.
