In Russia Liberals are not tolerated and some of them may be beaten up. But the year 1937 was the year many people were executed for slightly disagreeing with Liberal Communist ideas.

I'll try.
The protesters that are being violent and damaging property are out of line. Milo may hold some pretty whacky opinions, but that doesn't justify violence.
If they want to protest, then they should do that peacefully. Not storming past the police barricades.

A large number of progressives--not all--have become some of the most intolerant, hateful, judgmental, and destructive elements of our society.
I suppose a conservative comparison would be the skinheads and KKK, but those people do not represent conservatism in any way and they represent a tiny minority of the right.
Most conservatives are quite content to allow people to be who they are and live and let live. Those who do not are not viewed favorably by the rest of us.
I can't imagine a group of conservatives forbidding a progressive or anybody else to speak, much less get violent about it. Conservatives who don't appreciate a speaker just don't attend the speech. And that's that.
