And at the end, they get free cars, free homes, free food. Sounds like they're playing The Price is Right when they get here.
The families I've known were large, I'm talking 10-15 people including kids. There's no way the government is giving families that size $200 a month in free food. These people were not starving. The kids played in the front all day, no one appeared to be hungry.

I think it's a wonderful thing. Of course you realize AirBnB HAS no homes. They offer OTHER people's homes. But no matter. It's a wonderful thing. And the USAs problem is solved. Now, can we change the subject please?

That would have been prior to the Thatcher era, so they would have actually been far, far more generous then than today.

Well, while American veterans sleep under a bridge or in a ran down shelter, I sure the hell wouldn't be taking in strangers from some of the same countries that were trying to kill us only a short time ago.

There should be no opposition to examining the vetting process, by either side of the political spectrum....I really don't understand why it is that libs are arguing in favor of what we know are infiltrated populations?

Now, for the record, I think that what the vast majority of these poor people have gone through is unimaginable, but unfortunately we are up against an enemy that exploits their plight, and our kindness.

So since we are not doing as good of a job as we should be doing taking care for veterans with severe mental issues, we shouldn't do anything for anyone, anywhere, under any circumstances. I am pretty sure that we are capable in this country of doing two more more things at one time. For example, we could do a better job reaching and helping homeless veterans with mental illness while at the same time still taking in some refugees from war torn countries. Particularly considering that the vast majority of those refugees are women and children.

This is what I think, and I wish ya'll would just admit it, the real problem is you don't want those Middle Easterners coming here under any circumstances. Am I right? I would suspect that I am on this one.

And if it turns out that we are doing everything we can, and the vetting is acceptable, then their flow will resume....The administration estimates about 90 days....Not that big a deal.

Yeah, I have a thought. Maybe they want to come here for the same reasons our own people came here, to escape oppression, to escape physical harm, to embrace freedom, equality and opportunity.
