Poll: Trump voters OK with a private email server

We're not talking about that here. Re-read the OP.

Poll: Trump voters OK with a private email server
According to a new poll by Public Policy Polling, supporters of President Donald Trump say he should be allowed to have a private email server.

This is what I thought we were talking about.

And you'd be fine with verifying that no official business is conducted on said private server?

Of course. Everyone is not irresponsible like Hillary.

If an independent and impartial entity did the verification, I could support it.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I think this applies to all citizens including the President.

How about we wait until there is evidence of wrong doing before we start violating anyone's rights. He can have a private server and a private phone and private conversations with family and friends in a free country

Then no personal server for him.

Exactly. Try again.

The same could be said for Clinton, who endangered CIA agents with her idiocy.

Like I said, as long as work, and especially classified information isn't on it.

That was Hillary's problem. She was too incompetent to protect the classified material. It should have never touched unapproved systems.

Things like emails to family and friends... no problem.

I mean, pretty sure the question is meant to pertain to him using it in his capacity as president, otherwise why ask the question now, when he err... becomes president?

Nice pivot I guess though. They should have made the question clearer.

Exactly. Try again.

I agree Trump and all government workers should have the right to have a private e-mail server. The vast majority are not irresponsible like Hillary.

Sorry but we do not need to monitor every responsible government workers private server because Hillary was unable to handle classified documents responsibly.

The simple solution to the problem is to not let people who have been found incompetent in their ability to handle classified material be in a job that handles classified material.

Plus, a typical government worker would have possibly gone to jail, or at least lose their job if they did what Hillary did.
