You guys thought Bush 43 was a loose cannon, and didn't propose this. I think the complete meltdown of the Left is the source of our problems. Since you didn't reject this loony bill, you've proven you're in lockstep.

If the capital is nuked, then we dont exactly have time for a "cool down" period.

Literally the only time a nuke would be legitimately used before a congressional declaration of war is the crazy type scenarios where it would be impossible to declare one. Thats why this bill is stupid and the only people backing it are backing it for purely partisan reasons.

You have to believe there is some kind of protocol being used to keep Trump away from doing anything dangerous when he frequently goes nuts. The guy will eventually be declared non compos mentis.

Trump isn't going to do something that goes against his own best interests. A nuclear war would go against his and every other rich person's interests. So I wouldn't worry about it.

I DO think we need to start taking away the President's power to wage "war" without Congressional approval. But that is irrespective of who is President.

Agree. Congress, with regards to both parties has been fast tracking their abdication of their war authority for some time. Pretty sickening.
