Problem is though, historically, it is usually lefties that are the assassins, so it is more likely that their targets acted on would be from the right....

When Obama got in, I really said a prayer for his safety. Not because I thought that any of the right loonies would get frothed up enough to take action, but with all the hopes that the lunatic left were putting into him, their disillusionment could have proved fatal.

hm, that's an interesting opinion...you didn't believe the "right" leaning loonies would react to Obama, but you did fear that the "left" leaning would react to Obama and now you fear they will react to Trump

I personally think a loonie is unpredictable regardless of their leaning. Trust me, crazy has no lean.

Well, that's true, but if you think about it, who is it out there destroying property, or agitating situations? "Right loonies" or "Left loonies"? I mean, except for the grandma's, and kind of weird guys in powdered wigs in the Tea Party, really isn't much that the right takes off work for.....:shrug:

Well, we have to actually, and honestly take a look into whom you are labeling...Not saying that you don't have somewhat of a point, just that I believe it is a valid academic exercise, rather than a rhetorical gottcha game. ;)

like I said, the fact that you have a held belief that loonies on the right do no damage and loonies on the left destroy property and agitate situations is quite fascinating to me

I don't know if I have heard that opinion actually expressed openly before. I do not believe most criminals express themselves as left leaning but perhaps I am wrong probably because I, more than just lean toward the left ;) socially anyway, if not fiscally. :mrgreen:
