WASHINGTON — Donald Trump's Inauguration Day festivities triggered a wave of turbulent demonstrations, dissent and dozens of arrests Friday as protesters brought traffic to a crawl in the nation's capital.

After a night of chaotic clashes between police and protesters, violence erupted again in the city's downtown, about five blocks from the presidential parade route.

To the protesters - You have the right to free speech. You have the right to organize. You have the right to protest. You do NOT have the right to destroy property. Simply put, you belong in jail.

Destruction of property is stupid and counter productive.
 
There are probably 1,500 professional leftist protestors nationwide willing to throw rocks and break store windows as a standard operating procedure. As nearly all don't work, or are perpetual "students", they are willing and able to travel anywhere to protest "capitalism" while puffing weed bummed from others.

I noticed the SS guys with the long coats were walking "heavy". Body armor w/ thighs, smoke, tear gas, M-4 shorties or HK's of some sort, phasers, neutron evaporators.

What is being discussed are rioters. It really doesn't matter at all what their political beliefs might be. What matters is that they are rioting. The rioters are people so stupid and inarticulate that violence is the only means of expression they can achieve. Sponge colonies exhibit more intelligence.

No, I engaged a left wing anarchist once in a conversation. He was one of the perpetual student types at age 30 (+). Anyways, he had travelled to protests and gave me an approximate figure of "the regulars". He then started to give me a garbled explanation of the "protest" goals, but I could not understand it.

Shame on you. As I have said on another thread the highlight of several hours inauguration watching was, for me, the sight of a courageous warrior for truth, justice and equality. This man - probably, he/she was masked, natch - quite regardless of danger assaulted a fascist street trash can alone. With great panache he turned it over and then slammed it into the ground! The spectacle! The drama!
