WASHINGTON — Legendary journalist Bob Woodward on Sunday clashed with his former Watergate reporting partner over the intelligence briefing of President-elect Donald Trump on the salacious allegations contained in an unverified dossier of opposition research.
“I’ve lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations,” Woodward told “Fox News Sunday.”
“That is a garbage document. It never should have been presented in — as part of an intelligence briefing.”

Woodward (100% untouchable by the Left) says it's garbage, and just about everything else with the Russian business. Bernstein on the other hand supported the whole dossier business. The overwhelming majority of the left disagrees with the dossier. The only media outlet that even published the thing was buzzfeed, which is by no means a real news organization. All other media outlets essentially bashed them for publishing it.

So I guess were gonna hear right wingers whine like a bunch of twats for the next 4 years about something buzzfeed said, lol. Meanwhile they elected a guy who took 8 years to admit that Obama is an american citizen. It's astounding.

The "Left" has been calling out Woodward ever since he became an apologist for Dubya's Iraqi invasion.
For someone assuming the name "American", you sure seem to be out-of-touch with at least half of the nation.

Buzzfeed is 25% owned by NBC which I believe is "a real news organisation".
 
For all the protestations...Buzzfeed is NOT the only organization that has been giving the 'dossier' credibility.

What hasnt been mentioned is just how ridiculous the leftists have been by jumping on the golden shower rhetoric KNOWING it was a lie. The whole Russia/hacking thing is no different. The leftists and leftist news organizations DID promote that ridiculous 13 page 'report' on 'Russian hacking' which ended up being 2 paragraphs stating it is POSSIBLE that maybe it was the Russians because gosh, it LOOKS like something they would do and the rest of the US intel report was drivel that had ZERO to do with evidence indicating the Russians were involved in the hacking.

And yet...people now are shrieking about how the Russians hacked the elections. They have been promoting their lie to the weak minded for 5 months hoping to first avoid answering for what was released and second to call into question Trumps election legitimacy in order to try to weaken him. So the leftist mission has been accomplished.

Why did CNN publish a story AT ALL regarding a dossier that was obviously bull****? Why didnt they state straight up that the dossier was bull****? What they DID do was present an article...just...well...heres a nice innocent little article about a dossier...

You don't think it is news when intelligence agencies present information to the (soon to be) President regarding information which is being alleged to be compromising?

Ignore for a moment the contents of what was posted by Buzzfeed. Focus only on what CNN reported. CNN reported that top intelligence officials briefed our next President that there is information going around that he might be compromised by Russia based on information obtained by a former spy whom intelligence agencies feel is credible. How is that not news? That is most certainly news.

If it turns out the intel is bad, then so be it. CNN has, on multiple occassions, noted the content within the report is unverified and unverifiable. But the CNN report merely noted this information was presented, it made no judgment on the content.

Are you really telling me you don't think this is news?

It was floating around for months Eventually it would be published.
Also, Trump needed to be briefed on this by the Int agencies. If he had not been briefed the crap would hit the fan as to why he was not when it was eventually published. And it would eventually have been published

As the moderator on Fox News Sunday argued to the the CIA director all the major news agencies can report on it now that the Agency included the rumors in an intelligence briefing

If someone created an obviously false bull**** dossier accusing you of being a child predator, would it be appropriate for media outlets to report "Slyfox696 was briefed by the police on a dossier showing her to be a child predator"?

No. It's not 'news' that Trump was told there was a bull**** dossier out there that made bull**** allegations. The media outlets reporting it gave the dossier assumed credibility. Look how many leftists on this site jumped to make threads about pissgate. But...it was all in good fun...right?

Thing is news is news. Next it was floating around for months, and no MSM published the details.
Regardless it was coming out. Far to many people had the full transcript.
Obama and Trump had to be briefed, no way around that.
For Trump then to slam the Intelligence agencies, is childish and unbecoming of the Office he will have, they were doing their jobs.

News is news. Bull**** is bull****. There was absolutely no value in reporting bull**** except to feed the trolls. Thats what CNN did. Its what they do.
 
trumpgate has broken out much sooner in 2017 than Watergate did in 1973.

At least Pence appears to be more honest as a governor than Agnew was.

The big difference back then was congress was Democratic .
