[FONT=&quot]A girl snatched from a hospital in Florida in 1998 just hours after she was born has been found alive and healthy in South Carolina, authorities announced Friday, cracking a case that went unsolved for nearly two decades.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]“She appears to be a normal, 18-year-old woman,” Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said in describing Kamiyah Mobley, who was found in Walterboro living under a different name. “She has a lot to process, a lot to think about.”[/FONT]

How life shattering is that, I feel for all parties involved, and pray the woman that committed this terrible crime pays for denying a child and her family the life they were robbed of.

It's always great news to hear about a kidnapped child found, gives hope to other parents who have missing children out there. As you said, this was a terrible crime and I also hope the woman pays for it.

I just couldn't even imagine, your whole world, everything you thought you knew your whole life, at such a time when you're still developing into who you're going to be, suddenly turned upside down, the person you've called mom, your entire life, turning out not to be and even worse than that, turns out to have stolen you.

The mix of emotions must be... Unbearable, absolutely unbearable.

I can't even begin to imagine the emotions her bio family has gone through for the last 2 decades.

That was my reaction too. They're protecting her privacy by not revealing her name (the one the thief bestowed upon her). That's pretty smart because I'm sure this young lady will need a lot of therapy. How awful a story. I can't imagine having one of my kids stolen while they were newborns. Her poor biological parents.
 
What a bittersweet ending. Happy for the parents to learn their child is alive. But that young lady is in for a rough road.
