Biden awarded presidential Medal of Freedom

Oh the irony and delusion for you thinking that your moronic partisan rant is less than laughable.
The uneducated use of big words by you even more so.

Use of big words... LOL...

Is plagiarist a "big word" for Libs? LOL...

The dumbest man in the Senate... the plagiarist... The Demokrat Partei Clown... Wow. LOL.

This is like the USSR... where one clown gave the other medals.

This has about the same value as Obama's Nobel Prize.

Laughable.

He is a good man, your opinion is very wrong

I just Tweeted The Donald, see if I can get you that award.
Hell, if you look up 'ellipsis' and learn how to use it, I'll send your name in to the Pope and get you a sainthood.

LOL... Thanks.
I'll settle for a free weekend ski pass for Mt. Washington...

OK.
Didn't say he was a bad man.
Simply not deserving of that honor.

The way Dems explain it... it sounds like a Participation Trophy.

I think it smells like the way the USSR did things.

Prost!

This is ridiculous. What has Biden, as a citizen, done to deserve such an award? The government should not be doing things like this, especially a president giving the award to his VP. If you want unethical, this is pretty much textbook.

OK, sure. He just played a quiet second fiddle for 8 long years. He would probably want those years back. I'd say that deserves a medal.

You will have your Obama derangement syndrome till you die of old age.

Plagiarist? Nope that would be the dumb ass clown your boy Trumptard picked. Your obama deranged syndrome is in full bloom as everyone can see Zimmy.

Greetings, CJ. :2wave:

Darn it, CJ, now we gotta wait years to see if a new award standard has just been established for politicians! I wonder if lower level political folks like mayors will want to jump in on this too...Come to think of it, why do I even ask when I probably already know the answer, since I've never heard about any shy, humble politicians who hate the thought of camera flashbulbs.... :lamo:

Good evening Lady P

I'm pretty sure, there's still time for President Obama to use his trusty pen and establish a special honour that the Vice-President is responsible for awarding and then VP Biden can make President Obama the first recipient. Wouldn't that be perfect??

BTW, hope you're enjoying lots of rain, like we're getting here, and not snow. If it had snowed here the past couple of days we'd still be buried digging out.

Amen. And it will take Convention of the States Article V to achieve term limits. But you know we are getting real close to getting enough governors on board. Now is the time to really push for it. And we the people need to get involved to assure it does happen.

Good luck to you - I wish you all the best.

Here in Toronto, as an example, the people want City Council reduced in numbers - there are currently 44 plus the Mayor. They did a study to see which option they favoured most and while reducing the number in half, down to 22, was the favourite of the public, the City Council decided, poor dears, that they were overworked and thus need to create 2 new, additional, councilor positions for the next election. Study cost about $800,000 and each new councilor will cost about $300,000 annually. And the shameless bastards thought they did well.

Synonym for politician - parasite.

I was watching C-Span and saw it live. It was touching. He was caught off guard and broke down in tears.

Agree with his politics or not (which for the most part I do not), the man has devoted his life to public service, this nation, and the American people as a whole.

No one deserved this medal more than Joe Biden. Good for him.
Ive always liked Biden. He comes across as genuine guy and a good and likeable guy. This may have just been Obamas way of thanking Joe for his efforts. Its a nice gesture by Obama.

You are aware that in a previous presidential run Bidden was guilty of plagiarizing a few of his speeches correct?

Are there any cash values attached to awards of this type?

This was a great day for America and for Joe Biden. I watched the whole thing and could not help but thinking that we are going from CLASS to ASS in just a few days.

God save us cause we certainly did not do our part.

What has Joe Biden, as a citizen, done??

Well, let's see. Since he was first elected to the Senate in 1972 at the age of 29, he has spent his entire adult life in public service, leaving the Senate and becoming Vice President in 2008. He has suffered the death of his first wife, his only daughter, and just last year, his son Beau. He has one remaining son Hunter, who along with Beau was severely injured in the auto accident that killed his mother and sister. In spite of his many personal losses, he has continued to serve the public for 44 years, and is one of the most bi-partisanly beloved people in D.C.

That's what Joe Biden, as a citizen, has done, a career which certainly defines "an especially meritorious contribution to...national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors".

What have you done?

We were in the freezer cycle earlier this week - low single digit temps along with howling winds- with no snow here, but Columbus got over five inches to shovel- however today it got to 49 degrees and we started getting a "Noah's Ark" type deluge.

Cleveland is being warned about the Cuyahoga River being at flood stage - yep the same river that caught fire and burned 45 years ago for the last time, I might add  - which led to the creation and passage of the U.S. Clean Water Act. And people think nothing noteworthy ever happens in NE Ohio? Well we proved that water can burn for quite a long time if it's polluted enough.....:lamo

Not even close to the level of plagiarism as Trumptards pick on her phd. You are aware of THAT right son?

And he even cried for us (well, of course he did), how nice.

Obama, the wife, his VP, everyone be crying.

No wonder they failed.

I cannot stand his politics and I think he's the epitome of why we shouldn't have either career politicians nor people serving who will never be able to get a job better paying than that of a senator. That being said, this award is obviously worth whatever he makes of it and its not like he's gonna get some cushy job or a bunch of jack for "winning it". I just don't see why anyone would get upset over a lame duck president giving his main flunky an award for being a loyal supporter who did what a VP should do

1) never make his boss look bad

2) and make everyone want to keep Obama in the office lest Joe Biden get it

I say he earned the award. Good Job Joe, have a great retirement

The amount of butthurt in this thread is Hilarious.
Its a civilian award it could never make me have a meltdown and be all angry LMAO

Great post Di

What have you done?

Just try to use the best words you know to describe the word. It's not that hard.
Were you home-schooled by any chance?

Where have you seen anything posted by him that would make you think he has any education?

See we made progress you went from the false narrative of Bidden didn't commit plagiarism to admitting he did.
Glad you chose to honestly admit that Bidden committed plagiarism. Even if you had to so It in kindergarten "but but they did it also" fashion.
You can teach an old dog new tricks after all.
