<“I have great concerns that we inject a level of great uncertainty into an already uncertain environment if we don’t give people a clear indication as to what will come once we repeal,” Murkowski said Monday.>

It qualifies as political propaganda that Joseph Goebels would be proud of. Both of our major political parties indulge in this sort of thing which is one reason nothing gets done in Washington and leads to the polarization we have today. This is one reason I never have and never will belong to either of our major political parties. Neither are interested in the truth or spout facts, both play on peoples fears for their own political advantage. We have the government we deserve since very few of us will hold our political parties accountable for what they do and say. Most of us, one side or the other, will just buy into the pure political propaganda without thinking just because they belong to that party and want to believe what they say. People become puppets on a string for both political parties.

Is the message totally asinine and baseless? Yes
Are multiple media outlets pushing that message? No
Are members of congress pushing that message? No
Are large number of people repeating that message as if its fact? No

Hey I know, answer those questions for Death panels, birth certificates or Benghazi stand down lies. I get all “yes” answers. What answers did you get? Anyhoo, I think Goebels would be more proud of propaganda that required a concerted and coordinated effort and worked. Like the ones that have all "yes" answers.

Neither you nor I know what they are going to replace it with, but replacing it they will have to do, going backwards is no longer an option for either side. You may have issues with our Republican brothers and sisters, but I do not, they are not the ogres some want to make them out to be, they are our neighbors, family, and friends and fellow citizens and to say they want to kill millions of Americans is just dishonest. ACA was flawed and was so from day 1, some say fix it, but I cannot see how that can be done since the government cannot control what deductibles insurance companies set for their plans meaning many of those plans are nearly useless, because without the huge federal subsidies those plans are unaffordable by most, and without a mandate to force people to buy insurance the plan is cannot be sustained. In the long run I see no alternative to going to a single-payer plan such as they have in every other western Nation and most of the rest of the civilized world, I just hope that we are smart enough to set up something that takes the good points of those plans and throws out the bad. Oh, we may try a bandaide and/or other alternatives but in the end I think we will be forced to follow the worlds lead if we really want to address the issue, we just have to go through our kicking and screaming phase first. My guess it will be similar to Medicare, where the coverage covers most expenses, but one still needs a supplemental plan to cover the rest or voluntary type procedures, but at this point it is too early to know what we will end up with. Hey, at least the issue is being addressed, and in the long run will have to be dealt with in a way that all Americans can get healthcare coverage if it is not new people will be installed and they will have to keep trying. The problem was not made in a day and it will not be fixed in one, wait and see what comes next.:2wave:

Republicans out to kill your grandma, they will push her off the cliff etc. etc. As for the birth certificate, only right wing blogs and some idiot politicians pushed it. Yeah, I tired of it quickly also. You can bet if Obama was born overseas, the FBI, our intel agencies and a bunch more would have stepped in quickly and put the matter to rest. Those agencies wouldn't allow anyone born outside this country to run or to get far before they stepped in. Benghazi, covert operation gone bad. The video and Arab Spring seemed to make an excellent cover story. At least that is what I believe. I don't hold anyone responsible, not all covert operations go according to plan and not all succeed.
