Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit[W:320]

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

He got fired from a position he doesn't get paid for. He didn't have a job, it was a volunteer position.

Which makes it even more of a dick move...

You didn't know he volunteered for the Trump campaign and kissed his rear over Trump's favorite 140-character method of communication?

Anyway, as to your gotcha: LOL!

The OP contains a link to CNN. You didn't read it because CNN has a liberal lean. You just said "ILLEGITIMATE!"

Why on Earth would anyone spend time looking for a conservative source you won't automatically, once they've seen you do that?

Of course, the worst part of this is that you simply assumed that the CNN link said that Ray was Trump's buddy, and called the source "illegitimate" on that basis. The CNN source doesn't actually mention their relationship. That comes from elsewhere. But you wouldn't know that because you didn't bother to read it before dismissing it.

A lot of incompetents kissed Obama's azz and were appointed positions they weren't qualified for.

Hillary comes to mind.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Sure. https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-fires-charles-brotman-225228955.html

"Brotman’s replacement is Steve Ray, who the New York Daily News describes as “a 56-year-old broadcaster who volunteered with the Trump campaign.” Just another example of Trump offering positions to his supporters.

So far, we have the Daily Beast and the New York Daily News as sources. Your Yahoo story is really an Inquisitr story, that dumps responsibility back to the NY Daily News.

No CNN? NYT?

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Trump drops inauguration announcer Charles Brotman who's done them all since Eisenhower - CNNPolitics.com

Great. Here's a guy who just lost his wife a few weeks ago, and says preparing for this inauguration was all that was keeping him going, then he receives an email... a ****ing email... firing him after 60 years of service.

And why? So that one of Trump's loyal supporters could have the job. Welcome to the Make America Great Again world... if you're one of Trump's buddies. If you're not.. "You're Fired."

**** Trump. This isn't reality tv. This was a real person, whose life was dismissed without a second thought. What a despicably sleazy thing to do.

1. Where are you getting that the guy is recently widowed (not that its important)? Im not seeing that info in your link.

2. Guy seems a bit melodramatic and you do as well about this. He is gonna commit suicide simply because he was not invited to mc the inaugeration... i can understand him being disappointed by the news, but suicide???

And you acting like it some kind of crime against humanity for some reason. I cant even tell what your problem is.

Is it because trump has the audacity to not offer the guy that role or that he informed him of the break with tradition by email? Both?

I can honestly say i do not care who MCs the inaugeration or how they are selected. I think it would be awesome if he could of gotten Puttin to do it just to watch the drama queens go nuts. These attacks are getting so absurb that its honestly become comical listening to them. Your acting as if Trump robbed the man of his purpose to live by invited someone else to be the announcer or whatever it is he did.

Anayway, as to your gotcha: LOL!

Source?

The OP contains a link to CNN. You didn't read it because CNN has a liberal lean. You just said "ILLEGITIMATE!"

The CNN link contains one mention of Steve Ray's background:
"
In his place, the Trump team has tapped Steve Ray, a 58-year-old Washington-based freelance announcer who has worked with the MLB's Washington Nationals and for local radio stations."

Why on Earth would anyone spend time looking for a conservative source you won't automatically, once they've seen you do that?

Huh? Write gudder pleeze.

Someone on this thread is a rambling idiot. I won't say who, but I think readers can figure it out.

Can you find any legitimate source (hint: the OP isn't one) that says Steve Ray and Donald Trump are buddies?

You didn't know he volunteered for the Trump campaign and kissed his rear over Trump's favorite 140-character method of communication?

[Edit: I just noticed that Dianna actually did bother to find a link for you. Let me guess: ILLEGITIMATE!

After all, its HQ is in California - LIBERALS! - and it's CEO is a member of the Democratic party]

I thought so.

Remember this the next time you try a "show me a link" gotcha. This is why I know it's waste of time to respond.

It's not about getting an alternate source. It's about trolling other posters by getting them to spend their time finding links for you, then, you hope, frustrating them by rejecting that link too.

I'd have thought it rather obvious that "reject" goes between the word "automatically" and the comma. Anyway, does this mean I have a volunteer editor for my posts now?

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

First, no one wants to perform at Trumps inauguration, now this guy is contemplating suicide for not being able to? Honestly, for all of the Trump haters out there who think this is such a shabby move by Trump, why? Shouldn't it be a relief to not have to do his inauguration?

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Confess have never heard of the guy (Brotman).

What exactly does a "parade announcer" do??

In this case, he gives flamers from the left something to cry about. Mascara, eye liner, rouge, and lipstick sales are through the roof. Right fellas?

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

I thought so.

Could be a BN story in itself. The word 'thought' is something I've never associated with your replies thus far.

Remember this the next time you try a "show me a link" gotcha. This is why I know it's waste of time to respond.

Oh sure, I'll blindly believe what the writer of the OP states, even though a very important claim they're making isn't found in either of their linked sources. :lamo Think gudder pleeze.

It's not about getting an alternate source. It's about trolling other posters by getting them to spend their time finding links for you, then, you hope, frustrating them by rejecting that link too.

You're another one who makes claims and then can't supply any legitimate link to back up your statements.

Personally, I researched and read several articles last night about the subject, and the only source for the claim that Ray is a Trump supporter came from the Daily Beast. Jason Silverstein from the NY Daily News is source #2.

-Yahoo is not a source here, they are reprinting an Inquisitr article that cites Jason Silverstein as their source. If you'd actually do some reading before posting, you'd see that the OP's claims are far from validated.

To borrow your penchant for unnecessarily large gaps between text, and answer your question.....

....no.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Not a trump fan by any means but this guy has to grow a pair. Nothing lasts forever mate just be happy you had the opportunity, plus he replaced someone at one point.

How was anyone in the Trump camp supposed to know he recently lost his wife?

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

You think David Mscavige is more successful than Trump?

Bezos and Gates sure as hell are.

It's called doing your homework.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

And do you admonish your snarky liberal comrades so? In fact, do you make even the smallest attempt to moderate your own snark? Hypocrisy much?

Why yes, I do, thank you for asking, Buckaroo.:2wave:

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Did they not explain or thank him in the Email?
Does Trump have a personal relationship with the guy?

No, no more, probably, than Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, or Obama. (whew!)
Hell with it. It looks so simple to me but it seems incomprehensible to others. I'll just say that the guy who cruised through a dressing room full of teenage girls just showed his quality again. His only saving grace would be not knowing the history when he said his friend would announce the inauguration. An apology would be classy so I don't expect one to happen.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

Gee, tell me all about it.

Or get informed about it yourself and stop blindly supporting an asshat who had a bunch of his Dad's buddies cover up his crimes. Lot like G.H.W. Bush did for his sons.

Yeah, and Kerry fooled the Navy in awarding him a Silver Star.

You do realize there is video and audio recordings of John McCain doing pro-NVA radio and TV spots while prisoner right?

Kerry's issue wasn't about the Silver Star.. it was about his Purple Hearts and it goes back to Navy policy during Vietnam in which a hang nail would get you a Purple Heart, not him directly or at least to me. But it's a military thing to give out bull**** medals for whatever reason each war. My brother saw it and most of my friends that served in Iraq and Afghanistan when Bronze Stars were given out like candy to officers and NCOs (career guys) but anybody below SGT were told they wouldn't get Bronze Stars but rather ARCOMs (most of my friends and brother served in the Army). It happens and has YET to be corrected.

Again, please provide the details. I'm very interested.

Everybody in the US was told that Hanoi Hilton was hell on earth in Vietnam, the worst of the worst and it's wrong.. There was another prison in Hanoi code named Alcatraz by the US. If you were sent to Alcatraz it was for "very" special treatment because your resistance was so great. The 11 US military personal (Alcatraz gang) didn't crack at Hanoi Hilton and were sent to Alcatraz which was in the courtyard of the North Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense. None of those 11 cracked. This included James Stockdale who dropped the first bombs to start the Vietnam War.

Floyd James (Thompson) was captured on March 26, 1964. He was and still is officially the longest held US POW. He tried to escape 5 times. The man was old school Green Beret.

ISIL grew out of Dickhead Chaingang's invasion of Iraq to help his Big Oil buddies.

This is false. ISIL didn't exist in 2008 and Sunni terrorist (freedom fighter) the US fought in Iraq were at the table by the time Bush and Cheney left office. John McCain met with ISIL leadership in their early days (start of Syria Civil War). He had a photo up with Salim Idris and Khalid al-Hamad both known ISIS commanders. John McCain also met with Abdelhakim Belhadj and gave him an award. Abdelhakim Belhadj (Libya) swore oath to ISIS. McCain and Graham were the main force behind funding and weapons to Syria which was controlled by Saudis.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

I'm not interested.

>>stop blindly supporting an asshat

I wouldn't say I "support" McCain. I dismiss out-of-hand any piles of crap peddled by RW nuts.

I grew up on a naval air station. My scoutmaster, who had become a sort of surrogate father to me, was a fighter pilot, KIA over North Vietnam. I love the United States Navy more than anything in the world. I know McCain can't raise his arms above his shoulders. That's all I need to know.

>>You do realize there is video and audio recordings of John McCain doing pro-NVA radio and TV spots while prisoner right?

I don't give a flying eff. I have a caldron of hate inside me, and a lot of it grew out of that war. He could have danced naked on North Vietnamese television while kissing an NVA battle flag and I wouldn't give a flying eff.

>>Kerry's issue

Again, not interested.

>>ISIL didn't exist in 2008

It was formed out of Al Qaeda in Iraq and other terrorist groups, the origins of which date back the US invasion in 2003. You have absolutely no idea what yer talking about — nothing new there.

>>McCain and Graham were the main force behind funding and weapons to Syria which was controlled by Saudis.

The civil war in Syria developed as a result of our invasion of Iraq — an operation organised and led by Dickhead Chaingang & Associates. Trying to put things back together in the region was inevitably gonna be a nightmare.

I supported McCain's call for limited airstrikes against Assad's air and armour assets in response to his slaughter of civilians. I expect Americans would have been killed, and things might have become worse. I can't say whether arming those forces fighting the Syrian gubmint was a good idea or not. I know I have zero confidence in anything you have to say about it.

Re: Inauguration announcer on being cut by Trump: 'I thought I was going to commit su

So in a post where you are responding to my claim of you projecting you blame me for projection then steal my words and say "I know you are but what am I?"

It's amazing that you dont' even see the ridiculousness of your own posts.
I am not amazed, but humored that you can not see the ridiculousness of your own postings.

But yes, you were again wrong as usual. It was not projection but an accurate description.

That is more than funny coming from you. Considering your last post.
And again just confirming that you have no valid response.
