Donald Trump Names Son-in-Law Jared Kushner as Senior Adviser

Yep, gibberish that didn't answer my question. So I will ask you. What has he done other than marry Trump's daughter?

I'm waiting for your vast knowledge of his career.

Kushner has been the the CEO of a successful multi-million dollar company for 8 years. At the same point in life, Emanual couldn't say that; he was nothing but a campaign flunky.

Reinoe is the one who brought up the idea of Kushner being on SCOTUS. But you're right, we all should have just laughed at him and ignored his dumb comment. Kushner isn't getting nominated to SCOTUS.

Come on, really? That's almost as bad as making a reality star POTUS. Did it done did that?

So his qualification is buying stuff. You're not doing well, apdst.

It's quite a bit more complex than that, but I don't expect you to get it. :lamo

That's an interesting strategy I haven't seen before. When you can no longer defend your point without looking like an idiot, you just claim the point you WERE defending until you ran out of arguments is no longer relevant!

A for effort/originality for sure!

I'll bet anything you would consider Hillary or Bill for the Supreme court. You're just part of the group hunting around for any little thing you can find to criticize Trump on and his family. The silly thing is he hasn't been consider for the position you vehemently argue over for page after page, but you nor anyone else here has a clue what it takes to do that job. But it is entertaining to watch you lefties have 50 strokes a day over something Trump.

Apdst, I'm waiting for the supposed qualifications. Is Trump going back into the real estate business?

How is Kushner unqualified? I bet you can't tell us, other than you hate him. Oh...oh...wait! He's a racists; huh? Yeah, that's it! :lamo

I'm no fan of Trump but what qualifications do you need to be an advisor exactly? He's a well educated individual, with serious business experience, and some limited exposure to foreign policy issues due to his family foundation and the involvement with Israel. On top of that Trump seems to trust him. What else is 'needed' to be an advisor?

I was responding to arguments made by YOU, or Reinoe. It's what we do here. You've got nearly 71,000 posts so you know this. This is the most bizarre exchange I've seen in a long time....

BTW, I was not criticizing Kushner - obviously he's a very bright and successful guy, and if Trump trusts him and wants him as advisor, as I've said many times, I'm indifferent, don't care, it's Trump's prerogative, and I have no reason to think Kushner is an ideologue so maybe he has a talent for politics at the highest level in the world, and will be great, or terrible! Don't know!

I was just responding to the very silly/insane/ludicrous/laughable idea that he is qualified for the SCOTUS. And then to the also ludicrous notion that if we believe "intern" doesn't meet the minimum requirements for SCOTUS, we're anti-semitic or believe Kushner is stupid.

Finally, as to Bill or Hillary, sure, I'd "consider" them for the SCOTUS, and conclude that they're very poor choices, althoug both miles ahead of Kushner on the "qualified or not" scale.

Can you show us the official prequisites for presidential advisors, Hatuey?

Apdst, I'm not asking if there are requisites he must attain. I'm asking you what his qualifications are to be in a position to advise the president.

Don't worry, I'll wait for you to tell me about your vast wikipedia knowledge on this guy.

Did you even know who he was 6 months ago?

Therein lies the problem. Trump vetting anybody is disturbing.

Live your life and stop worrying about who is President. If that person makes that much difference, you have bigger issues to deal with.

You claim he's unqualified. It's up to you to explain why. Get back to us when can.

You seem awful worked up about a Presidential Advisor. As I understand it, these are people who the President trusts. I barely heard of the current Sr. Advisor and when I learned that she was born in Iran and people accused her of influencing the President to make a deal with Iran, I trusted the President's decision on who he trusted--you know, the guy who the buck stops with. If he gives good advice, we will probably never know it. If he gives bad advice, we probably will never know that either. We survived a first lady having a fortuneteller give advice, we can survive this.

What business is it of yours what I'm seem worked up over?

I didn't care for the rest.

Of course you can't. No surprise.

Apdst, you made a false claim about a claim I've never made. I simply told you 'nope'. I asked you what he made him qualified, you essentially said he's good at making money.

That's pretty flimsy.

I have a confession to make.

I've discovered/realized Jared Kushner has passed exactly 0 bar exams. This means that he while he may have graduated with a juris doctor that doesn't mean he actually knows anything about the law. I officially retract everything I said about Jared Kushner being on the Supreme Court.

I still support him as Trump's advisor though.

I think he'll help Trump bring a new "Golden" era to the presidency. Lol

I can only observe your posts and you don't seem to have a coherent concern. It is an adviser, not a cabinet official being discussed. Keep calm and have a nice day.

Let me ask you this. If by some unfortunate circumstance you would become very sick, would you seek advice from your relatives, drinking buddies, neighbor, best frient who you would otherwise trust with your life, or some stranger who actually knows something about the matter, namely a doctor?
