Trump battles Meryl Streep with tweets as Cabinet picks prepare for grilling

Yes, I do, because Trump is not in the habit of mocking disabled people and there are zero instances of him ever doing so. .

I honestly can not think of a more petty and vindictive person in politics. It is right in character as is ironically proven in his childish tweets.

Well get used to it. Trump has demonstrated quite well that he intends to be Trump and follow nobody else's dictates. Hopefully he will set a whole new trend as he slowly but surely breaks down the tyranny of political correctness. I am NOT approving everything he tweets and I get as frustrated with some of it as anybody else. But I would rather see honest opinion expressed and become common place instead of the suppression of truth and honesty via political correctness.

If Trump accomplishes nothing more than that, he will have done a very good thing for the American people.

Trump has been socializing and partying with "hollyweird" his whole ****ing life. Now playing like he's their worst enemy. You will soon learn that he's pandering and telling you what you want to hear.

Rong... so Rong.

It's Hollywierd that's lost their minds, and are having a cow.

He's bitch slapped R's on their first day in Congress.

He's the opposite of hostile to business Obama... and where Hollywierd were on their knees licking the floor, cleaning up every drop.

Time will tell about Trump... but so far, so good. :)

I can... Obama and his klan.

IRS used as a weapon.
Telling R's on day 1 they shouldn't listen to Limbaugh.
Sicking people on AIG employees.
His calling police stupid... without knowing the facts.

Obama's not just petty and vindictive, he's a moron who has cost people their lives.

Hey at least the left doesn't mock the disabled or defend those who do when they get angry

Is that your line inthe sand?

The disabled are the sacred cows of the USA?

It is funny you use a gif of that idiot.

Drunks are honest too in what they say, that doesn't mean I want one running the country.

Well i used to think it was veterans, but then the republican primary debate booed the **** out of a veteran

I don't know, do republicans respect anyone who isn't a white hetero male gazillionaire?

Good one!

Actually i didn't notice the "doesn't know me" until now. Wow, if he can't take criticism from people he doesn't know, and understand that the job he signed up for is scrutinized, and for good reason, he should just resign now

She's smart enough to amass a net worth north of 45 million. No doubt your superior intellect has done far more.

It is so nice to see lefties sticking up for rich people all of a sudden.

But Polanski is an artiiist. That makes all the difference to people like her.

Yeah that. Or because he had committed a crime 20 years earlier that he served time for and was remorseful for having committed.

Might be a little different than some lying asshole who refuses to apologize or even admit what happened.

President Trump doesn't drink at all. According to even her closest friends, Hillary does. A lot.

Has nothing to do with wealth. But then you already knew that.

You brought her net worth, so obviously it does have something to do with it.

Where on earth did you get the idea he has served time for it.

He is a fugitive from justice.

And what about Trumps comments on disabled people. Do you find them amusing? Because that's the crux of the issue here.

Do you remember the posts just before this one? There isn't any mention of tweets about disabled reporters in the OP or the article for the OP, so that isn't the crux of this thread. You want it to be but I want a Maserati also.
If you want to start a thread about disabled tweets have at it. I won't participate in the hijacking of a thread to entertain your obvious attempt to divert.

So we can get this straight, are you stating that all of the lefties are up in arms about Trumps tweets or just the ones that don't have enough drama in their lives?
I'm not simply talking about disabled tweets. I'm talking about the inexcusable actions of our POETUS, which Streep referenced in her speech (not that I care about what Streep says/thinks - as I've said multiple times).

I said 'lefties' are up in arms as a figure of speech to generalize who is taking up one side of the issue. There are conservatives who have the same issue. I wouldn't read into it too much.

Quote the passage where Piers debunked it then (that I didn't already quote and address in my post).

I do have to give you credit for persistence.

From the title of this thread about Trump "battling M. Streep if bull crap.

She was at the White House party just 24 hour prior of the all studded Hollywood group to show up and party till wee hours of the morning. Where the White House served them waffles and chicken for breakfast.

You know what I think? Maybe Hollywood should stick to entertainment.

Didn't read this whole thread, but based on the following, IMO it's plausible that Trump wasn't mocking the reporter:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8JqT2atxD8

Partisanship aside, I think Trump hitting back at Streep is tactically effective. By contrast, when Hillary was under assault during the campaign and debates and chose not to defend herself, I think that silence reinforced people's doubts about her and hurt her. Trump understands the power of his image and the need to maintain it in order to have influence and get things done.

Did trumpuke gain or lose votes in the 16 swing states on this particular twittergate ?

WTF does that have to do with the OP Nimby?

Typical from you.

Yes... it was an effective rebuttal to your post.

It's posted below in full for you to enjoy one more time:

It's amazing how Libs can be so distracted and worked up over a slight spelling alteration. It explains much about Libs and what seems to be their monumental celebration of personal ignorance.
