Trump battles Meryl Streep with tweets as Cabinet picks prepare for grilling

My side? That's like saying because they are black they are from your side (), you clown.

So because someone calls out Trump, our president elect, for mocking a disabled person, they also have to include those those 4 or else?

**** off for saying I am legitimizing their crimes, I at least, have the decency to call out Trump when he deserves it, why don't you take a clue and get your head out of your ass.

When you hold the kidnapping and torture of a special needs kid to a lower standard, because the perps aren't the president, by God EXPECT to be called out on it!!

Offices of CEO's and elected officials are often held by sociopaths. They have done studies so it shouldn't surprise anybody. Hilary is the same.

I've read that psychopaths are valued in corporate executive positions. They're often intelligent and have far less emotional baggage than the rest of us.

Here's one of the many, many things that's sad about all this:

We're about to say goodbye to a calm, intelligent, morally sound Black man, in favor of an impulsive, stupid, puerile white man.

And yet we're just supposed to give that unqualified white dude a chance? Oh hell no. He has decisively proven that he is unworthy of such a chance.

Why are you including race?

Agreed. It is ehy they are good at it. I was simply commenting that the argument that he is a sociopath is pretty weak.

Personal note. My ex remarried to a CEO. The guy is great at that but a total asshole to deal with personally. Always has to be right. Never once apologized for anything to me. Etc etc.

Okay so in your opinion Trump and four idiots from Chicago are on the same level. Sorry, I hold my leaders to a higher standard than people who kidnap and torture a defenseless person so no wonder your post confused me.

Okay.

The most pertinent part:

Enter Donald Trump’s rally in South Carolina soon thereafter. During the rally Trump pointed all of this out and paraphrased Kovaleski’s backtracking as he impersonated a groveling reporter changing his story under pressure. While he did this, Trump moved his hands around quickly, acting flustered.

Rebuttal:

If all you see from that is Trump 'moving hands around quickly, acting flustered', then you're being willfully blind. He says "now, the poor guy, you gotta see this guy". Then, putting on a voice associated with disabled people goes "aaaagghhhhh" multiple times whilst flailing and clawing his arms. Anyone can see the obvious implication there.

Again, the implication is that Kovaleski can’t control his arms from moving. To the contrary, Kovaleski appears perfectly calm when giving interviews. Thus, if Trump truly wanted to mock Kovaleski’s disability, he would have had to stand perfectly still with a flexed right hand and not flail his arms. don’t believe me?

Rebuttal:

Trump clearly exaggerates the mans disability for comedic effect. That's what you do when you try to be funny.

Next? This is kinda easy when you consider that Trump himself rebuts yours and the articles argument. I can do this all day.

Would seem that some of our Trump posters are as thin skinned as the man himself. Going to be a long 4 years if you lot start crying everytime some old actress is "mean" to the Donald.

Trump needs a safe space with fluffy pillows and a blankie.

Because nobody can criticize fragile ol' Trump, otherwise he'll be triggered and get his feelings hurt.

a777's argument is a strawman. Streep never said Trump mocked the supporter BECAUSE he was disabled. Most people aren't. They're saying Trump mocked the reporter by mocking his disability BECAUSE of other reasons.

End of the day, he still mocked a disabled persons disability, which is a ****ty thing to do, no matter why you do it.

The bind is the Straw Man... ;)

Not at all. The idiotic rhetoric is to be expected. Let me post it again so as to make it easier for you to understand what I already said. I suspect you won't get it the second time either.

It amuses me.

What idiotic rhetoric? The most idiotic rhetoric i recall from this thread was when you mocked Michelle Obama by calling her "Moochelle".

Now, you seem to think it is appropriate to respond to criticisms of our president-elects behavior by erroneously claiming that "nobody cares" (it is odd to pick a claim that is already demonstratively false by the mere existence of the conversation, but you picked it nonetheless), and further that the critics are "clowns" and "window lickers".

And you tell me that "idiotic rhetoric is to be expected."

And I hope they do get louder. The louder they are, the more they will show America what Liberalism is really about.

It's about the freedom to protest injustice and it will not be abridged. Count on it. If you think we will sit by while the rights of citizens are violated you are going to be disappointed. If Trump tries to thwart our laws he will be inundated with protests like have never been seen before.

By GOD, woman!!

How dare you have a higher standard for President than for criminal!!!

Earlier this year on Ellen, Ellen scatched Michelle with a back scratch stick in a store like you would scratch a pets back. Seems if the Left can do it...

He didn't say that in any video I've seen. Again, he uses those very same hand movements whenever he is describing somebody all flustered or agitated. Read the rebuttal here very carefully and say without equivocation that he was mocking somebody he had never met:

https://www.catholics4trump.com/the-true-story-donald-trump-did-not-mock-a-reporters-disability/

Probably because its been selectively edited out because it doesn't fit the narrative. In the actual video...right before he gives his impression, he says "You gotta see this guy......"

Go back and watch the clip....he CLEARLY says..."You gotta see this guy!..."

Okay.

That is not a rebuttal. That is propaganda re something that Trump did not do. You didn't read the article I linked did you.

Even Piers Morgan, so far left he is left of the leftists, and an adoring fan of Meryl Streep, was more intellectually honest than that and acknowledges the situation as it was/is:

PIERS MORGAN: Sorry, Meryl but that hypocritical anti-Trump rant was easily the worst performance of your career (apart from that time you gave a child rapist a standing ovation) | Daily Mail Online

Piers by the way, is one leftists I can respect because he does not cotton to using dishonest interpretations of people in order to smear them.

Sorry I am not convinced. Even Piers Morgan, more left than most leftists and a diehard Meryl Streep fan, is intellectually honest enough to appreciate how Trump is being falsely accused in that event:

PIERS MORGAN: Sorry, Meryl but that hypocritical anti-Trump rant was easily the worst performance of your career (apart from that time you gave a child rapist a standing ovation) | Daily Mail Online

I did read it. I even quoted the pertinent parts. And he did do it... that's why I quoted the video... of him... doing it!

How come when I analyze the video it's 'propoganda', but when your article does it it isn't?

Piers Morgan :lamo

I tell you this, I give even less of a **** what Piers Morgan says than what Meryl Streep says. Is he even a lefty? I don't know, I don't listen to him.

Now, I invite you to actually attempt to rebut my arguments.

... what?

You don't see a difference between a light hearted joke and a hateful, derogatory insult?

Calling a mooch a mooch isn't tolerable in your world. Too freaking bad. Just like the lack of intelligence in your post, nobody cares. You are boring me.:coffeepap

Haha good one you sure showed him!!1!!!!!11one!! xD

:applaud:applaud

You obviously have had seconds of the kool-aid.

Look at you folks, and look at Streep and Hollywierd... pop, pop, pop, pop... those exploding heads sound like 100 popcorn machines in full operation.

It is fun to watch... and is great entertainment because they're screwing themselves.

It's the Left who are so über sensitive they required safe spaces, cuddle mutts, hot cocoa, were so distraught classes were cancelled, and then followed it up with a week+ of protests... ROTFLOL...

Now we have the idiocy we had last night... and the fun has just begun.

I guess losing 1000 state seats, the House, Senate, 34 Governorships, and presidency is not enough... and I agree... so I encourage more of the Left's idiotic behavior.
