The footage, which Chicago’s top police officer called “reprehensible,” quickly went viral online. In the shaky video, a terrified young man in a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants is seen crouching in a corner, his wrists and neck bound with orange bands, his mouth taped shut.

Police say this man — an unidentified 18-year-old from Crystal Lake, a city northwest of Chicago — spent as long as five hours physically tied up in a corner.
In video footage posted on Facebook, a young woman films as two young men slash the sleeves of his shirt with knives and take turns punching him, slapping him and stomping on his head. At one point, one man can be seen cutting the victim’s hair and scalp with a knife, and the victim is later shown bleeding from his injuries.
While the victim can be seen cowering with his back to the wall, another voice can be heard repeatedly shouting, “F‑‑‑ Donald Trump” and “F‑‑‑ white people.” The four apparent attackers were black, while the victim appeared to be white. . . .

Listened to Sheppard Smith on the radio today, and it seems they began promoting the increased violence the occurred to that guy. I guess I need to watch the video.

The real question is, with Obama do a press conference for this one in an attempt to ease race relations? I mean, his party has been pushing this Trump=Hitler narrative for about half a year now.

I highly doubt he will even mention this disgusting act, let alone treat it in an honest matter unlike Trayvon Martin.

Well they haven't gotten what they deserved yet. charged but not as of yet convicted and sentenced.

From what I have read the victim is to some degree mentally disabled. the perps stole a van, kidnapped this kid from mcdonalds, took him home and mentally and physically abused him, cut his hair and head with a knife. made him crawl around like a dog, made him drink from dirty toilet water.

This one is bad

And it is a New Year and already they are reaching their first 100 victims.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the reasons and a major one is they have three Mexican cartels working in Chicago a "sanctuary city" fighting over turf which will produce billions of dollars in the sell of drugs over the year.

Evidently there is no lack of junkies in Chicago. The sales for these cartels are phenomenal.

Chicago has a large number of single mothers with no fathers around to partake in the raising of the children they father. They live in poverty because of their parents' choices.

Kids without a father tend to have emotional problems and are at high risk of being criminals.

In these strongholds there is an absolute disrespect for human life especially among their young adults. And whether it was this poor man who is mentally challenged to be attacked by 4 pieces of excrement or the poor guy that was attacked and beaten by a bunch of hooligans on the street a month ago or the poor man that was beaten close to death on the L train...... there are a dozen of these stories monthly by young hooligans who have no respect for life.

Behold this is the consequences of leftist ideology.

Once again I struggle to struggle to find any merit in labeling a crime a hate crime. Crime is crime.

If these individuals would have tortured a black youth would it have been any less reprehensible?

The punishment should be swift and appropriate for this level of depravity .You don't need to label it "hate crime" or "disgusting crime" or "really bad crime" just label it crime against an innocent person and let the punishment begin.
