Paul Ryan: GOP will defund Planned Parenthood[W:546]

Didn't you call reimbursements a "shell game"? That is what you called it when PP got reimbursed for services rendered.

I said that PP used a shell game. They get both reimbursements and federal funds. Federal funds are gong to be eliminated, not reimbursements.

Sure there is a shell game with the money. PP themselves said that if they lose federal funding then it will effect the abortions they do. The evidence doesn't get any more clear than that.

MR, abortions are one of the few services they are fully reimbursed for WITHOUT federal funds.

What shell game?

We've been through this before. PP receives both federal funds and reimbursements. If PP performs elective abortions, they are not eligible for federal funds.

They are not eligible for fed funds for ABORTIONS.

Are you saying they are getting federal funds for abortion?

Why do we have to keep on going around in circles? This was already discussed on like page 1 as well as many other pages and now we are on page 88. Facilities that perform elective abortions are not eligible for federal funds. PP performs elective abortions. Therefore, they are not eligible for federal funds. The fact that they use a shell game with the money does not change those facts.

You are clearly and emphatically stating and restating that facilities that perform elective abortions do not get any federal funds. Show me the law that states that. You previously stated that it was the Hyde Amendment. Show me in the Hyde Amendment (or anywhere else) showing that PP is not eligible for federal funds.

If you find something then the federal government has years of fraud investigations to catch up on.

Federal funds are not to be used for elective abortions. PP does elective abortions. PP gets federal funds. PP will no longer be getting federal funds.
