You didn't read the linked NY Times article. It states that she will have triple the role--a daytime news and discussion program and a Sunday night show as well as regularly contributing to special political programming and big events.

I said easier work not more work. I guarantee you she can do all that while on cruise control at Never Been Correct. I'd rather have to do a lot of easy work than a few brutal tasks.

I think she is pretty good when she is reporting real news. She has a good, witty personality and is familiar with the high road.

I think the average lefty lacks your level of attentiveness.

I have to disagree just a bit with this as somebody who is not a Megyn Kelly fan though I acknowledge her success and do have admiration for what she does well. But in the last couple of years, she has not been able to maintain absolute objectivity in her approach to hard news, at least from where I sit, and that has bothered me. It became much more apparent in her flap with Donald Trump.

Nevertheless, I wish her well and hope she finds what she wants at NBC. I can't imagine who I want to replace her, but if I was in the position of filling that slot, I think I would either move Hannity back into it, or woo Greta Van Sustern back to Fox.

Good for her... I wish her all the best and with any luck, maybe she can set an example that will help lead the NBC news department out of the liberal biased sewer they've been swimming in for decades, and put them on a path where journalistic integrity actually means something again.

I know, I know... but I can't give up my dream of one day seeing a fair and unbiased mainstream news media right here in America.

I cannot say aythying about Kelly - but I do concede it is important for everyone to keep abreast of trends in the industry if they want to stay on top.

I'm not seeing much evidence of your first prediction, but the second seems to have fulfilled itself already with all the righties in this thread falling over themselves to rip into her. Hell hath no fury like a conservative scorned. :)
 
I don't mind her to be honest, she's mostly pretty much non-partisan, and gives it to both sides fairly, IMO. She'll be good for NBC, but I find it somewhat telling that NBC will not put her up against O'Reilly, something NBC and pretty much every other network has struggled with for the last decade. Now that she's gone, I can see them floating the idea of Tomi Laren as her replacement. In case no one knows who she is, she's the female version of Hannity, but super sexy!

She was apparently sexually harassed by the big boss and didn't say anything about it. She then moves up in the company... fishy fishy.
 
Megan Kelly was the only redeeming quality about FoxNews.

I wish her great success on whatever she decides to do.
