With No Warning, House Republicans Vote to Gut Independent Ethics Office

This is one campaign promise that trump kept.He promised to drain the swamp BUTT he didn’t say what he would drain from the swamp.Mystery solved, he drained the swamp of whatever minuscule amount of ethics that remained in the republicans.

What does this have to do with Trump?

anti trumpsters tried linking him to this story but it backfied on you

I recall what part you played in it and wont waste my time tracking it down

But you are here trying to cover someones trscks

Maybe your own

Pro-trumpsters were doing that too.

I have no doubt that will be the case. And as proven against the accusations, Trump will be doing the same thing.

I anticipate it's going to be a challenge for the left to find the right stuff to try and spin into a news story, considering Trump just might be two steps ahead of them.

Not as long as trump has access to his twitter account.

I often hear that, but that's a short-sighted view, IMHO.

There's a lot that needs to be done, and a lot of forces that need to be held in check. With no government, nothing happens. You end-up with chaos and rule by the powerful.

I didn't anything about no government. Nor did I suggest chaos would desirable. You invented that yourself because I didn't say it. I said I like grid lock. Since the voters refuse to remove the corruption from government, we do best when it does as little as possible. We need to cut federal government way back but I'm in a minority opinion there. It scares me that I'm in a minority opinion.

By "no" government, I meant gridlock (or paring) to the point of ineffectual.

Fair enough. Ineffectual is precisely what I want. The less they do, the fewer problems they inflict on society.

I disagree (at least in part), as I described in my earlier post, but hey - you're entitled to your opinion.

How are you going to side? President Trump rocks, now?

I agree with Trump on this one. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I personally expect Trump was reacting to the strong negative response to it on social media.
