Donald Trump wants couriers to replace email [W:191]

So far couriers have been working perfectly between New York and Moscow. (that's not hating on him, it's poking fun at him)
Seriously, lots of confidential docs and wet signatures are sent via courier every day. But as POTUS, he should not fear sending things via secure networks. If he really believes that he can't, well that is a problem and one of his security advisers should, well, advise him. Of course maybe Mike, I'm not paranoid, Flynn is advising him.

Link?

The government already uses couriers. Are you saying it should stop the practice? Has Obama been ****ing up all this time?

of course....just on this forum alone I have learned that every single ill known to mankind since the dawning of time is due to that Obama guy

you couldn't possibly think he has done anything right so yeah, it must be wrong...we all make little mistakes though right

So because emails can get hacked we ought to switch to couriers? Wonderful logic.

For highly sensitive material that should never fall into enemy hands, sure. Why not?

He did a couple things right. But, unlike the Left's snotting and slobering over anything President Trump does, I can present an objection to his conduct other than, "he's stoo-pid".

why would I, if you can't figure out the irony in your own sentence I am not going to do it for you

ponder it for a while, it will come to you

I knew you couldn't! :lamo :lamo

What'd I just say? :lamo

This current nut-up is making the Left look even worse than it already does.

I know what you said? I clarified what you said with more info, and then commented on Trump not knowing something even you know. Read the first sentence with surprise and not contempt.

You really think President Trump doesn't already know that? He already has White House couriers at his disposal.

I really think someone told him, and didn't compliment him in the conversation so he likely did not retain the information.

He brings up a good point and it pisses you off. :lamo

No he doesn't. He's making us seem vulnerable, when we are not. So that on the first day he can say he can make us strong while doing nothing. He has no intention of changing a damn thing. As evidenced by him basically ignoring his security briefings.

It's sleazy salesmanship 101. Create the illusion of the need you intend to fulfill. And you'll never dissapoint.

Obama, the weakest president in American history, has already exposed our weaknesses and even made us weaker.

Hackers don't need a government official to clue them in that infrastructures are susceptible to hacking. But you don't have to know that by being on the internet. Just google it on your wifi instead.

I think he was being sarcastic.

The whole claim here is the the EVIL russians (oh the 1980s called they want their foreign policy back) swayed our election by hacking the DNCs emails that showed them badmouthing Americans and sandbagging alternative candidates and publishing them, and thus Donald Trump somehow is an illegitimate criminal president, oh not only that the DNC staffers exposed their emails by clicking on a phishing link (how stupid are those people) So Trumps response is, "F You, solve your hacking yourself, it ain't my problem" and by the way, he would be right to feel that way.

Actually yes, really sensitive information should be conveyed by courrier or secure fax, not stored in a server run by a moron named John Podesta who clicks on phishing links.

The only thing I think is really stupid about Trump's statement is that he doesn't define what important things are. If he is referencing the recent hacks, emails and such, then I'll agree he is being an idiot. The United States has way too much going on to rely on personal couriers for that type of information. I am not opposed to keeping certain state secrets in paper form, but I'm pretty sure that happens already.

To be fair to Podesta, he did pass it by the i.t. guy.

Wtf does Obama have to do with this conversation?

How did you get to "all correspondence". I don't believe President Elect Trump suggested that all correspondence be sent by courier.

I know, projection required to fit narrative....

Drumpf supporters have no right to whine about distortions of facts. None.

We're talking document security within the government and the weaknesses of the system. Who has been president for eight years?

Please post a link so I won't think that you have just stated your opinion.

Obama didn't get on his macbook and personally resolve all the code in every program that could conceivably allow a hacker to access them.
