I am sorry that the Trump administration in progress has dumped the 'drain the swamp' motif because that is sure what needs to happen.

Because walls have been proven over the centuries to be effective at keeping people out. That's why. All those rich movie stars who want open borders live in houses that are surrounded by walls.

We're all Americans. I am not your enemy because I disagree with you. If you knew my story and you knew me, you would probably like me - most people do because I'm not annoying unless I drink too much coffee.

As far as the wall goes, I don't care. I think it's a waste of money. And the idea that there are millions of illegal immigrants in the country and one of them raped a girl doesn't mean "they're sending us their rapists." They want to make money, I'm pretty sure a rapist doesn't need to illegally enter a country to find a girl to assault (it's a horrible story, not denying that).

They are only effective at keeping out people not motivated enough to find away around them and illegal immigrants seeking entry in the US are definitely motivated. To someone looking to break into a house, a wall is an obstacle not worth wasting the time to try and find a way over but for an illegal immigrant it is well worth the time and money to find a way around the wall. Even then if someone really wants to rob a place a wall is not going to do anything.

Still not very cost effective. As that still requires an absolutely massive investment that would probably not pay off.

You do not need to be NAVY Seal to use a ladder or pay a smuggler. There is a service people want and there will be people ready to meet those needs.

The Americas are not the EU, where countries have chosen to disregard history by not adequately guarding their borders.

We have a right to define and fortify our borders.
