Motorist refuses to help stranded Trump supporter

Maybe for tonight. It depends on what I run into. I am having a hard time giving a **** about any issues in any of the threads. Just mellowing out and not sharing my ice cream.

Am I correct in assuming the flavor of ice cream you are currently eating is vanilla?

No, you are not correct. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream from Schwan's. It makes people smarter. Great for breakfast. Vanilla sucks unless eaten with the chocolate cake served at the Waldorf.

The assholes on the Left are really coming out, lately.

Says the person who supported the tow truck driver who refused to help a stranded Sanders supporter. Hypocrisy, thy name is apdst.

When did Donald Trump Jr. become an "affiliation"?
I do not know if he did, nor did I say he did. I said that helping people should never be a function of politics, religion, gender etc. just a simple matter of need.
I think Donald Jr. was just doing what he thought was right.
I am certain he did and it is a good thing.

TBH they probably wouldn't have stopped anyway and were just using the snap as a chance to troll.

Yes, this person is a jerk, period. Doesn't matter who he supports. If this guy did a political 180 and became a Republican, he'd still be a jerk.

The person refusing to help a stranded motorist is just one sign of what is wrong with the country.

What ever happened to helping out when someone is in need?

Yea, that is a righteous burn.

Ha! Have you been asleep for the past few weeks?
hat

You can't make up in a few weeks for what has been going on non-stop for the last 8 years.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

Was joking.

Bad attempt I guess ...

My revenge:
One day, when I was about 20, my car broke down. It was going to be a long walk home. I locked my door and closed it and started to walk when a guy that I worked with drove by. We made eye to eye contact and he didn't stop. I walked 10 plus miles home and got the car running the next day after work. About 4 months later I was driving to the liquor store when I noticed a familiar face on the side of the road next to a car with his hood up. It was the guy that I worked with that didn't stop. I stopped and said, "Need a ride?" He said, "Yeah, sure do." I smiled and said, "Hope you find one", laughed and drove off. That was on Saturday. He was pretty pissed on Monday. I think he was more pissed that I didn't care that he was pissed than that I left him on the side of the road.

FWIW, my post #42 has a very brief Harley story.

Now I woulda' helped her out, and pointed-out the dozen cars ahead that all passed her were Trump supporters.

Then I woulda' pointed to my Bernie bumper-sticker, and asked her: "So, who do you think you should vote for in '20?"

Hey, one down and one less left to go! ;)

(O.K., I lied about having a Bernie sticker)

((this is loosely based upon me on my Jap bike, stopping to help out a stranger on a broken-down hog, who got passed by other Harley riders earlier <-- true story))

I have been to Sturgis several times on my "jap scrap". It has never failed me. 1500 with 36k miles on it. It's under the car port. Bought it new in 91.

Wow.

I bet Jap at Sturgis is one helluva' interesting proposition.

Back in the city in and around my old neighborhood, we had a fair amount of guys with 1% affiliation. One of the nation's largest outlaw clubs had it's genesis in mine and the nearby neighborhoods. Serious guys. Me & my buds were friends with a lot of them, since we all knew each other and somewhat grew-up together or with mutual friends. A coupla' of buds of mine were associates, and a one even got patched. All was fine with everyone in the neighborhood when not riding, but when riding - Jap riding friends were not allowed with the guys associated with the club if any other club members were around. And the disdain got pretty icy in the neutral bars even when riding alone, and damn right hostile in the club hangout bars in any form.

So where I was from, up 'till the time I moved-out at least, riding Jap had some negative consequences depending on where you went, who you were with, and who you ran into. It was a pretty tough scene. One time my bike got spit on, outside one of their hangout bars. Me and a buddy who rode a Triumph got forced out of the bar when club members coming-in saw a Jap bike outside, and started questioning and raising hell. My buddy was tight with them, and his bike being a Triumph was O.K., but there was no way they would accept a Jap bike (or any other club's bike) parked in front of their hangout bar (this wasn't even their clubhouse!). The only reason I didn't face stiffer consequences was my buddy's good standing with them, and my quick acquiescing to leave rather than challenge. There's no way to win a stand-off with them, at least back then. They always traveled, drank, and partied in packs.

Such was the riding scene I came from.

I'd rather pick up Penn Jillette than a random Trump supporter.

The problem with that is that I feel guilty whenever I would ask Penn to not talk about anything serious and be, in the words of Bill Hicks, my little monkey boy.
