Yeah, and I was reading about medical emergencies on planes, "Don't have a heart attack on a plan" was the take away... then this. DAMN IT.

OMG. I knew her personally. This is horrible, just horrible. She was so insecure as a young woman, so vulnerable and sad. She finally got her life turned around... OMG, I'm crushed by this news.

No, we were acquainted. We met many years ago at a writer's conference. ATM, I'm praying this is one of those fake news stories gone viral. Horrible, horrible news.

Sadly, despite an earlier "Carrie Fisher Death Hoax" this one is terribly real. :(
 
hope that she's ok and that the story isn't true. so far, TMZ seems to be the only source.
 
 
At this point I'm just waiting for the bombs to start dropping. 2016 might as well be confused for 2012. The mayans predicted.
