I hope the loon bird lefties spent millions trying to screw up the electoral college vote. Hillary wasted many more millions on a losing effort than Trump spent on a winning one. Its a case of Rich Elitist democrats really engaging in income redistribution that I can get behind!!

As I mentioned in another thread, I want to see heads explode when sometime in the future Republicans mount an Electoral Vote challenge and win. Democrats tend to set precedents they're none to thrilled with when turned on them.

Filibusters. Killing filibusters. Borking. Soon, "pen and phone."

Dems in the minority prevented two brilliant jurists from getting CoA positions. One was Estrada for racist reasons and the other was Keisler because the dems were pissed with his founding the federalist society. Now those sort of obstructions will be history since the GOP has a majority and the dems got rid of the ability to filibuster CoA judges, so those judges can be rammed down the dems snouts quickly and Trump can stop the leftwing slide Obama and the nuclear option created on several circuits including the infamous 9th circuit.

We should call them "void ins" as many of the petulant losers will be suffering bouts of incontinence when we get a bunch of Scalia's former law clerks on the various federal courts. I can think of a bunch of really smart ones like Federalist Society founders Steven Calabresi (currently teaching at Yale) and Lee Liberman Otis (former DOE counsel) or the current appellate chief for the southern District of Ohio Mary Beth Young.

It turned out just like I thought it would. The whole thing didn't make sense. The guy that started the idea is a dingbat. There was no way they were going to "not vote" for Clinton and beat Trump.

Maybe one day soon, you might see that there's a direct correlation between the abhorrent behavior the left has displayed over the last 8 years, and the more than 900 political seats nationwide, that the democrats have lost during that time. I mean you people actually lost to Donald Trump for Christ's sake... lol

Yeah, there is an elegant, logical idiom in small government conservatism that states you never trust yourself with power that you wouldn't trust to the opposition. Harry Reid, a raging liberal nutjob, was impervious to such logic.

The Republican party is not a small government conservative party, either. They do stand more on tradition then Democrats, though. But I fear the Republicans they will not follow that wisdom either. They will take Reid's opening and exploit it for all it is worth, ending any chance of returning the filibuster to its rightful place. It will stay buried under layers of smoldering payback.

But hey, if it acts as a lesson to future Democrats to avoid nuclear options maybe it was all worth it. Ah who am I kidding, the Democrats don't learn from their mistakes, they just plan bigger, bolder mistakes.

I agree but I honestly doubt it will happen, Republicans have become no better than Democrats in regards to actually shrinking government overreach.

My hope is that all those electors saved emails/letters/phone records so on January 20th we can actually see a department of Justice that actually holds up the law.
